Exactly what the title states - putting a thread together where we can come and post little tidbits of anything we have done today, and as we build them to our own tastes.

I used the Curt T-connector harness specifically for the Badlands (LED lights), here.
Their instructions are pretty good. They say to wrap the wires around the bumper, but I found that it’s easier to just get underneath the Bronco and push the connectors up through the gap under the lights. You can see it pretty easily if you put a flashlight pointing down towards the bumper. The space behind the lights is tight. I put one connector right next to the existing chassis-mounted connector (towards the light, not the vehicle), which was a snug fit, but it works, and holds everything in place. Then I put the other connector onto the chassis-mounted connector shell. There’s not a lot of space to mount the adapter box, but I found spot on the frame just under the driver’s side light. It’s very tight, so make sure you have it pushed up against the bottom of the Bronco when you tape it in place, because it you let it touch the frame, it will stick instantly. They provide wire ties, but I ended up using a bunch of self-stick wire-management mounts that accept wire ties instead, since there isn’t a whole lot of places that you can actually wrap a wire tie around. There is a white ground wire that needs to be connected to the frame. They provide a screw, but I found that there is a bolt holding on a piece of body trim above the light (in the light box) and I simply removed that and re-installed it with the ground lug underneath the bolt head. I put a little silicone grease on the lug first, to ward off any corrosion.

When I ran the main power, I snaked it up and over the cross frame-rail near the rear tire, and then down the frame rail, and wire-tied it to the existing cable bundles running there. You want to make sure that it’s tied down enough to avoid the muffler and exhaust tube, which are right there. I continued running it down the frame rail, trying to keep it as high as possible. I snaked it around the body-to-frame mount (there is a big wire bundle there), and then up over the crash bar, behind the wheel well liner, and into the engine compartment. I wire-tied it in a couple of places, then cut it to length and spliced on the fuse and battery lug. I removed the existing flange nut to one of the electrical cables at the battery, and put the lug on the post, and then screwed the nut back on. All of this is doable without jacking the vehicle up, if you are not too big, and have a low creeper. But, it would have taken about 1/3 the time if I had a lift...

This is super helpful! Thank you! If I survive my install, I will give a report.

I’m going to get around to wiring my own hitch some day. Wasn’t there any way you could’ve passed the wires up through the passenger cabin so you could avoid the moisture situation?
The wire they provide is pretty thick, with heavy insulation. I don’t think water will be an issue, although I’ll check back in 10 years and let you know how brittle the wire is. 😀

I didn’t try running the wire through the cabin, but from what I’ve read about rear-view cams, it’s kind of a hassle. Since the controller module is already underneath the Bronco, it would be significantly more work to get the power wire back up into the cabin.

One other thing.
The Draw-Tite Max-Frame Hitch receiver that I bought from etrailer does not come with a mount for the 4-pin plug.
Which is kind of cheesy.
I bought this one from Amazon for a buck, and it works perfectly. You need to provide your own screws and nuts, but the holes line up, so it installs in seconds.

What do the holes line up with?

There’s a pre-drilled plate on the Draw-Tite hitch receiver. They should have thrown the $1 connector mount in for free, but they didn’t.

Bronco Center Console Badge
My buddy and I blew the dust off our fiber laser, had a few badges made from anodized aluminum and currently in the process of figuring out how to sell these.
Any interest?
Thanks.

Digging on the light set up, how’s the mounting brackets. nice tucked fit or is it sloppy fit. $
Been out of pocket so apologizes for not answering sooner. Everything is really nicely tucked up. The brackets are really well made and high quality. You have to make sure to get the spacers seated and positioned properly so the lights are properly aligned in the space.

Today, installed the IAG hood struts, Bronco fender script, trimmed up the Mabett mud flaps because they were rubbing a little bit when I turned the wheel at full lock, and some of the para cord grab handles.

Finished up two upgrade projects:
1. FROM - Sound system sucked -- TO - Awesome w/Kicker speakers in all 6 positions, 200.4 Key and 8" powered sub. ALSO: Sound deadening throughout using Knu Konceptz Kolossus 2nds at a fraction of the cost of more known brand(s).
2. Added a winch using Rough Country Hidden mount solution - Many challenges here, but done finally with the add of the RC Fairlead since the Warn wouldn't fit. NOTE: Warn Zeon series will not fit this setup - Warn EVO will with complete relocate of Control Head and some mods to inner shutter system for intercooler.

Needed a front license plate bracket and the original one i ordered (recommended on a forum) lasted 1 day. I ordered this one from Amazon and very happy. Sturdy and uses the existing TP40 bolts on my modular bumper. Took less than 5 minutes to install.

Checked my email in hopes of getting an email from Ford saying my Bronco has been delivered to my dealer (my salesman is off today, so can't bug him! Haha!). It is officially Day 8 of it sitting in a rail yard 25 miles from my dealership waiting to be picked up by a car hauler to take it to my dealer.

Looks good!

I installed the Aeroskin to mine a couple of weeks ago and really like it.
I also ordered the front corner armor covers and later decided to send them back for refund because they just didn't look quite right to me.
