I have a 2021 Badlands full size Bronco, which I love, but am having an issue finding a place to mount my ham radio Transciever inside. Can anyone direct me to where I can buy the dash mounted accessory rail? I keep striking out. Thanks in advance, and would love to see how you have mounted a radio in your rig.

That's a terrible idea, when do we start?

Ford dropped that accessory. However, there's an entire thread here on BroncoNation about it. https://thebronconation.com/forums/threads/dash-rail-phone-mount.6041/

Initially, they talk about just mounting a phone or camera (easy). But one person posted a link to a rail that connects to the accessory mount on the dash as well.

No problem, here's another one tat talks specifically about mounting a GMRS radio. https://thebronconation.com/forums/threads/attaching-gmrs-radio-to-the-picatinny-rail.2251/

Have a 2 Dr Badlands. See my pics. I've discovered that the aluminum plate will snugly fit between the grey trim below the display and the black above the Radio controls. Hasn't seemed to loosen over time. I've since painted the plate black.
Also fabricated a bracket for the antenna.

It looks from the picture like your radio display mounted there partially blocks the in-dash display, or am I wrong about that? I use the 12" display a LOT when off-road both for the 360 cameras as well as mapping software such as GAIGPS, etc.

This works for me, your mileage may vary.
It does block some of the screen, but the menu items that are behind the radio at the bottom are rarely used by me (I can reach them, just not a straight shot) and from the drivers postition, you can see the vast majority of the screen. Some radio head display's may not be as tall and will block less. I like this position due to fact that the display is perfectly placed for my liking, not too low to take eyes off of road, not on the top dash where the sun hits it, not overhead where it's hard to view. With my mount, the display mounting plate can be easily slid out and removed.

Since there is no permanent installation screw holes, or other marks made, doesn't hurt to give it a try.
