Hey everyone,

First time poster here. Just received my 4 door Base Bronco/Antimatter Blue (soft top) over the weekend and I'm over the moon excited. It has lived up to all of the hype and anticipation, IMO.

I know there are a lot of threads here on the topic, but I'm yet to see an official answer (so sorry if I missed it somewhere)...has anyone installed a rail on the dash yet? And if so, do you have a link to the product?
I know the Picatinny rail has been discussed, but not sure if one actually works or exists yet - or if anyone has actually installed it.
This truck is going to be a problem for me accessory wise (bye bye $$$), so I thought I'd start with something that I actually need.

Nope, 4WP is the supplier and has yet to produce it or talk about it anymore

Congrats on your new Bronco. The threaded accessory mount is ¼" x 20 threads. You can buy an adaptor for it on Amazon and connect a GoPro mount or some of the comparable mounts from 67 Designs or maybe Ram Mounts. Here is an adaptor.

My source at 4WP says they were working out the tooling for them and awaiting final prototypes.
Gave me a 6-8 month timeline that would put them available about the 1st of the year.
No est retail yet.

I think many AM's are waiting to see what Ford does and if they make any changes to this flop of a launch before the AM's get stuck behind the 8 ball producing something that Ford then changes on them

I ended up making my own for the GoPro. 1/4 x 20 bolt (head cut off), 1/4 x 20 nut, 1/4 x 20 knurled knob. works perfectly. Had ALL the items in my garage...

With my build week now being 9/6 I got motivated to solve this problem. I plan to go with RAM Mounts with a Tough Track rail attached to the Accessory Ready point. I will get a ¼ x 20 bolt to secure the rail and cushion each end for support with some sort of adhesive backed foam. In the attached pic I have the components that I plan to purchase. Note I said plan; I won't know if it works until I receive my Bronco, but I am pretty confident. Hope this helps. The devices are from the Ram Mount website.
