BLEND DAY. It’s when the body meets the chassis, and a BRONCO is born. Hundreds of people have built thousands of parts, all for the manufacture of this incredibly capable off-road vehicle. It’s a remarkable achievement if you stop to think about it. Yet mine is just one of many. Is anyone here celebrating their Bronco’s birth this week?

I hope people still waiting for their Broncos to get built have theirs scheduled for production soon! I whipped up this silly graphic as a lighthearted way of summarizing my own experience. I only wish getting a Bronco were as simple as pushing a button!
Chris here. I drive a 2-door Velocity Blue2023 Ford Bronco Badlands with Sasquatch, Lux, a 2.7L V6, and an automatic transmission. It’s fun.

Hi Sam,
If you have a VIN you should be able to get the railcar number from live chats. Took me five minutes, and the person I chatted with was very helpful.
That being said, you should also be able to get the information from your dealer. It’s NOT a secret. I’m not sure who your dealer is, but given you’re not getting emails on the progress of your build and shipping, i wonder if your dealer is not familiar with the DORA system or if they are just not being helpful.
Good Luck! We Washingtonians will have to get together once we have our steeds…
I’m wondering if dealers are just reluctant to share and be further cut out of the process. This kind of behavior by dealers is why (imho) Ford is moving away from dealerships and more toward direct ordering and improved transparency to the customer…. Tesla has taught everyone some important lessons.

The general sales manager is the one who’s been doing all my stuff. I’ve gotten my belts and shipping email not too long ago. I just wanted to track it since it is the first vehicle that I have ever order and gotten built. Thanks! Wish I could say I’m a Washingtonian but I’m from the good old Tennessee. My husband is stationed here at JBLM.

BuckYeah and Bluestreak57 how did y’all get the live chat to pop up. Cuz every time I go to the online chat part it doesn’t show up to chat live online.

You may have had a momentary loss of signal. If you open the Ford website, scroll all the way to the bottom. Under the heading "Support" you will see a link to "Contact Us". Click on that and another window should open. On the left side of the screen, there will be a Chat dialogue. Wait for the "Start Chatting" button to appear. Click on it, and it should open a window asking you for some basic information such as your first and last name, email address, ZIP code, and your VIN. From there, the dialogue box will tell you that you've entered the queue to speak with someone and it will estimate how long your wait time is. It takes a little practice to get used to the interface, but it does work. It works so well, in fact, that I've been known to open three chats a day! LOL Good luck!

I tried it on my husbands phone and it works for him. But it is after hours right now so I will try tomorrow. It just doesn’t like my phone.

I never clicked on the “Chat Sync and Service” button. I just clicked on a blue button that said "Start Chatting." You may have to enable cookies or something. Some kind of popup blocker may keep @sambarner from seeing the button. You can also simply call Customer Service directly. They'll help you out. Just tell them what you want to know and they'll oblige. The number is (800) 392-3673 but you'll have to call them during the day during business hours. Let's create a private chat about this if you cannot resolve the communication problem. Also, the Chat feature isn't available after 7PM PST. So, you'll have to try tomorrow. Sorry!

I think my car is lost... It's going in the wrong direction! It's heading EAST! LOL
According to the rail tracking information, it arrived in Willard, OH early this morning. However, it is still slated to arrive at the Chicago clearing yards by Friday, December 23rd. That date has stuck for a couple of days, so it may actually get there and join the official westward wagon train. Crossing fingers that Mother Nature doesn't unnecessarily contribute to delays, but there's nothing I can do to affect that!

This is funny. As it turns out, @sambarner and I are in the very same rail car! Cue “It’s a small world after all…” 🤓

We’ll, if you two would quit messing around and get to Chicago we could get this snake a’ moving….

I can’t help it. Someone told me Willard, Ohio is beautiful this time of year! I’m thinking about touring the country, in fact. If my car could have a theme song, I’d want it to be “I’ve Been Everywhere“ by Johnny Cash.
