Has anyone else noticed that the 6 Gen Bronco heaters are pretty trash? I've always known Fords to have great heaters but front vents are trash and floor heater is nearly non existent. Windshield vents seem to be the only ones to be noticeably useful.

Ohh details please???? That would be amazing!
Its in the running spread sheet for FORSCAN changes over at 6G. Here is the thread:

I have not received my truck yet, so I haven't played about with this, but the wheel temp is listed in degrees C in a pull-down menu when you open it up in FORSCAN. You can just move that number up to hit your preferred level of toasty.

I think this is the first vehicle that i actually have to turn down the heated seat to the lowest setting! I love my heated steering wheel as well, that could be a little warmer. The heater seems to be good, in my last car my feet would be burning and red from the floor heater. I don’t have that in the Bronco but I am definitely staying warm!
The seats do get quite toasty. And I'm with you on the steering wheel, I have found that the heat level of the steering wheel seems to coinside with how high or low the heat is set to. Could explain why it should be warmer since the heater is blah.

Some people have reported that the vents weren't connected properly during assembly and the heat would leak out. I'd worth checking if you don't feel any airflow at all.

Exactly. Except mine comes mostly out the dash top on the windshield even when I have only the floor turned on. I'm with you I've always known Ford's to have great heaters but not so much on the Bronco.
"My dealer says"... may be the actuator. Going in to have it looked at tomorrow... Hopefully an easy fix. πŸ˜„

Thanks, i will have to get my son to help me out with this. He has a Focus ST that he has used FORSCAN with. BTW, I hope you get your truck soon!!

I have been using the auto setting and just adjusting the temp if I get too hot, it’s usually on high. I don’t notice the steering wheel temp change with that. It could be warmer but I still enjoy what I have. My last car was a Denali and the top 3rd of the steering wheel was fake wood grain and didn’t heat up. At least I have the whole steering wheel heated on the Bronco!

The floor vents in mine are pretty useless, but the heat gets very, very toasty. I just keep it on Defrost and dash vents. The AC is amazing, in South Alabama, thats way more important

I am having the same issues with the floor vents. Even when I choose floor most of the air still comes out of the dash towards the windshield. Took it into the dealership they said it is normal. It is really frustrating hopefully they come up with a fix.

Other Broncos on the lot did the exact same thing.

Following up on yesterday's post.. had it looked at today. The service guy swears that's just the way it is - some heat on the floor and some in the defrost, even if you only have it on floor vents. The owner of the dealership disagrees and has promised to follow up on this. Will keep y'all posted!
As a side note, I'm so happy that everyone's seat heaters and steering wheel heater are functioning, but it really has nothing to do with the OPπŸ˜‰

Interestingly, I have a 2021 BadSas. It’s the best heater in our stable. Other cars are 2015 Audi Q7 Prestige and 2020 AT4 Duramax. Nothing heat the cabin up like my bronco. Serious. You might have something wrong is my thought.

There is absolutely no air blowing on the floor of my 22 Black Diamond.

In the same boat here. Rear vents pretty much a slight whiff of breeze. The front floor is full blast on the passenger side while the drivers side floor is weak. Like a 80% to 20% comparison when the fan speed is set to full.

Took it in early fall but Tech at dealer said everything is β€˜working normal’

If I set the heater (or aircon) to "Floor Vent", almost nothing comes out of the floor vent, 90% comes out of the A pillar - to the left of the windshield. All of the other vents in the vehicle work fantastically, blowing a Hurricane of hot air. If you have cold feet, you are completely out of luck. The dealership tested everything and everything is working "as designed" according to the tests, so the dealership is unable to repair anything. Ford headquarters is staying very quiet on this subject and won't acknowledge they have a design problem and won't suggest a remedy.

was up in the snow in the Sierra's this weekend (about 37 degrees) for a while driving on trails - me, my wife and my dog - never had a problem with the heater.

Same here. Live in MI. Have had some cold days, highs in mid 20s, lows in teens. Floor works good, dash vents really pump out heat. Windshield good. One thing I noticed, when temps. drop, is my rear driver side door will whistle around 5-10 MPH. I assume the window seal is not as good as in warm weather, but haven't got into the deals yet.

Heat toasty, flip on the seats and wheel, time to break out the sun reflector!! 😏

Mine work plenty. I actually have to turn the floor heaters off. For those that the dealers are saying everything is working fine, are they checking the computer, and the mechanical connections? The computer my "see" things as fine, and a mechanical connection (bad hose connection/torn hose) could be putting the air somewhere other than the floor.

Yep, I have the same whistle when it gets cold except mine comes from the passenger side.πŸ˜•

I have found for whatever reason when things are set to AUTO I get much better foot well heat than if I manually choose. I have no answer for why...I'm just running with it. Manually it is quit wimpy but AUTO mode I can wear shorts in below zero temps comfortably. πŸ™…
