Has anyone else noticed that the 6 Gen Bronco heaters are pretty trash? I've always known Fords to have great heaters but front vents are trash and floor heater is nearly non existent. Windshield vents seem to be the only ones to be noticeably useful.

Dumb question from me but do you have the vents on? It took me a some time to get it cuz it's was different from my Escape.
Lol. Yes and fully open.

Both. You can turn them on via digital display or dash push button. Although choosing where the air goes is all done through the digital display once on; the temp can be adjusted by touch display or turn dial fan speed by toggle. Atleast on the Lux setup. Atleast the window defroster/defogger works but the rest are weak and all but useless. I'm sure the front vents being set back so far doesn't help but even with my hand on them I can hardly feel anything (and yes I have confirmed they are fully in the open position). If I turn all other vents off and leave just the floors on it still tries to blow (softer) on the windshield. Atleast one initial issue went away. The first couple months if I turned the HEAT on and had the temp on say 74 it would also automatically turn High A/C mode on.
I have the electronic dual zone and aware of how it works. My question to you was, how you had the controls configured and asked if you could take a pic so I or someone else could possibly help.

I did check how mine were set mine up last night. The onscreen shows the Defrost Button (top), the button for the main dash vents (middle) and the bottom button for the floor vents. Was your button for the floor vent lit up or just on screen? I turned off the other 2 buttons, and I had a ton of air and heat coming out of the floor vent. If your floor vent button is lit up and you're still not getting the air, you either have a blend door stuck closed or the temperature you have your Bronco set at isn't calling for heat, so it won't send heat--just like your furnace in your home.

With it that cold any heat would feel good. Doesn't mean it's great nor powerful.
im going to have to say that you have a problem because it is in no way weak in my Bronco it is both great and powerful

In the touch screen control?
Yes. That's how one selects where the air comes from. If I use the touch screen to select floor the air is weak and even if I turn the dash and windshield off it still sometimes tries to blow on the windshield.

I hope to see what you mean very soon. Just to be safe, Iโ€™m ordering a few pairs of wool socks and a pair of long johns to offset the discomfort level. Forget flags, posters, hammocks and calendars, Ford shouldโ€™ve sent Bronco buyers socks! Maybe theyโ€™ll put a couple of pairs in the console of Broncos being delivered over the winter. ๐Ÿค“
Chris here. I drive a 2-door Velocity Blue 2023 Ford Bronco Badlands with Sasquatch, Lux, a 2.7L V6, and an automatic transmission. Itโ€™s fun.

I find the floor vents to be inadequate, also. When in "floor vent" mode, it seems that most of the air is coming out of the side vents towards the windows. I am not aware of a setting to change this. I can put my hand down and find the vent, but not much air is coming out. I was raised with Fords and they've always had amazing floor heat.. until this...

I ASSUMED you meant the rear floor vents. But some have had mats that have slid on top of the rear ones. And obviously blocked the heat or cooling.
Donโ€™t feel bad I thought they were talking about the rear vents as well. Heck I was pleasantly surprised to see they even exist since I heard rear passengers were F^%$d. Now maybe for A/C they are unless you specifically run it to the floor vents via the computer.

I will let you know when we have the week of Cold later in February. but I am still figuring this thing out. fighting with the wife now on settings. I like to leave the fan on Auto and adjust the temp my wife like to monkey with fan speed.

YES!
I'm in the exact same situation! I'm an auto guy with the mindset of "set it and forget it". My wife is complete opposite. She gets in a hot car and she's full blast on the fan until she gets cold and then she goes to almost no fan and then she gets hot and goes full fan. Rinse and repeat....

Exactly. Except mine comes mostly out the dash top on the windshield even when I have only the floor turned on. I'm with you I've always known Ford's to have great heaters but not so much on the Bronco.

The auto seems to work fine for me (so far). It automatically changes the speed of the fan (limited by the 1, 2, 3 setting), it also automatically decides where the air should go typically heat is to the floor or defrost as deemed appropriate. When its warm out it will come out the front vents. Havenโ€™t had a problem but also hasnโ€™t been below 35 degrees or above 75 here yet since I got it mid October.

The floor vents are waaay under there so you really gotta reach for them to feel any air.

I think this is the first vehicle that i actually have to turn down the heated seat to the lowest setting! I love my heated steering wheel as well, that could be a little warmer. The heater seems to be good, in my last car my feet would be burning and red from the floor heater. I donโ€™t have that in the Bronco but I am definitely staying warm!

The heated steering wheel is adjustable in FORSCAN. You can set it to be much, much warmer.
