2/1/22 order with top 25 dealer in SoCal, Badlands, 2 Dr, 2.7, EG...Dropped MB and Tow 2/8. Called today, no VIN. I know so many have been waiting so much longer. Still hopeful for my Golden Ticket!

When you say "top 25 dealer"...where did you get that information? Are there published rankings somewhere, or did they just tell you that? Curious to see where my dealer would stack up!

Welcome! Nice Wildtrak - are you getting the HOSS 3.0? I'd spring for it, but I ordered a Badlands.

As to VIN, you get it from your dealer, as told to me by a Ford customer service rep. I ordered on 2/24/22, and have not received a VIN.

Vins are given when you get scheduled for build week. You could get a VIn in a week if your dealer has allocation and you have no build constraints or it may be next year before you get a VIN. I was lucky enough to get a VIN quickly, but my build date has been moved 6 times since the original build week. I’m hoping to take delivery in May, which would be 6 months for me. Others have been waiting a year and a half and do not have a VIN. This is usually because their dealer doesn’t have enough allocation. causing a wait behind others who have order priority from that dealer , or they have many of the build constraints that we know are an issues. I would set expectations 6 months minimum wait, but be prepared to potentially wait a year and by then you will be looking at 2023 model. Not trying to crush the party but wanted you all to know it’s most likely 6-12 months and you may not get a VIN for months…again, just depending on your build and dealer selection.

Placed order 2/14/22 A-plan priority 10 badland 4 door sac high package dealer recommended removing tow package got confirmation email same day.

All confirmations should come same day. Now it’s just sit and wait and hope you get previewed in the next 6 months. Next round of scheduling will probably be first week in April. That would be the soonest you would be picked up and the earliest you could get Scheduled would be 2nd week of May, but probably unlikely based on being a 2.7 Badlands with a High package.

I ordered an Area 51 4 door Big Bend, 10 Speed Auto, Mid Package, Hard Top, Auxiliary Switches on March 1st and got confirmation on March 2. Dealer said 5 1/2 months, but reading all of your posts is quickly making me doubt that.
I am not sure what you all mean by A plan or X plan or pins. Could someone explain that to me! Thanks in advance!

Really the only thing I see slowing me down is the hard top. Oh, also confirmed pricing at MSRP.

No update from dealer on build date when I called in color change.

Yea I had to change mine too from 2020 to 2021 and now might be a 2023 as I keep reading. Ugh But then I think of all those people in Ukraine that have lost everything and say prayers for them . So I can wait for a 2 Door BlackDiamond Squash package.
It would be Awesome if you actually receive your within 6 months.

I ordered a Big Bend on 2/7/22 and confirmation email on 2/17/22. I ordered no trailer hitch or hard top hoping for a better build date.
I did not get a priority code or an order number in he email. My salesman says he does’t know about either one. Who should I contact?

Ended up trying the chat feature on ford this morning. Took a bit of a wait, but totally worth it! Got a VIN and a build date of week of April 25, 2022. My order date was 2/11 with no constrained items and soft top. I’d suggest checking the chat function out. If you don’t have a VIN, you will need the order and dealer code and they can look it up quick.

Where did you get the chat that didn’t give you pre selected topics?
