February 2022 Orders!

I do not see how you could be price protected. Once the order banks close, one would assume Ford will be able to "catch up" on reservation and dealer orders before opening the banks again for 23MY. It is not good for business to have a two year horizon on a customer order, albeit supply chain constraints ease. I am feeling optimistic that I will receive my order within 9-12 months of the date the order was submitted.

Ended up trying the chat feature on ford this morning. Took a bit of a wait, but totally worth it! Got a VIN and a build date of week of April 25, 2022. My order date was 2/11 with no constrained items and soft top. I’d suggest checking the chat function out. If you don’t have a VIN, you will need the order and dealer code and they can look it up quick.

thank you! I was shocked it was actually scheduled. Hopefully that’s a good sign for everyone else that they are finally catching up.

Thanks for the info. about Ford's chat function; here's what I found out from the Ford agent at Chat:

I appreciate your patience! I was able to see that your order is currently in the "In Order Processing" which means the order has been entered into the Ford Ordering System. Once the dealership provides you a Vehicle Identification Number (VIN) you will be able to use our online tool to track it here: https://shop.ford.com/vehicleordertracking . I have seen the VIN become available in various stages of the orders, but more often after it's been in production. This stage comes next for your order. I also was not able to see that it's been scheduled for production yet.

I'll check again in a couple of weeks, I suppose.

Got the email from Ford the same day, but my order doesn’t show up in the Ford app?

Dealer told me 5-8 months….but that is probably BS.

I’ve got 170k miles on my Tacoma, so I’m prepared to wait but may eventually be forced to buy another Toyota if it takes too long.

my order didn’t show on the app or my ford account. You’ll have to have the VIN and add it yourself. I believe that’s due to ordering through the dealer.

I ordered the exact build on 1/27. Got a VIN and build week of 5/2 yesterday. I'm sure that build week will get pushed, but maybe there is some hope for end of summer.

Lol! I have 258k miles on my Odyssey I bought new in 2006. I sold my Harley to buy the van after we had our first child. I am now going to be able to drive something I want to drive other than a man van. I just hope my van lasts until my Bronco comes in.

No they wouldn’t offer price protection. If you know of a way to get it. Do tell.

I am new to the forum and am still trying to navigate my way around. I have seen a thread for January 2022 orders and thought it was a great idea and way for those who had ordered in January to get some anecdotal data on timelines for a VIN#, build date, etc. If you have placed an order in February of 2022, I hope you will post and follow this thread.

I placed an order with a local dealer in the Nashville area on 2/1/22. I ordered a Blds, 4dr, Sas, 2.7, MIC, with tow in EG. For what it is worth, the priority code on my build sheet is 13. I was told by the dealer that they had approximately 205 Bronco orders.

Ordered mine today and received confirmation a couple hours later. My priority code is 10, no idea what that means but I'm willing to wait. Nice spec on your order, hope you don't have to wait too long!!

Your order is the same as mine. I ordered from a large dealer in Nashville and was told it could be 2 years. Where did you place your order?

That's really quick! Does the Sasquatch slow it down that much? I ordered the Shadow Black 4dr Base W/Sasquatch and 2.7 back on 2-10-22, They had just approx. 140 orders in front of me at this dealer.
