Called to schedule my wiring harness recall on a Monday at 10:00 am + Bot told me 2 times to call back during business hours-got through on 3rd call + asked about this issue.Person on other end said they had many callers saying the same thing + asked does this info get passed on + response was not my Job "WTF"
On my '22 Raptor I got the harness recall done at the dealer when parts finally showed. Biggest hassle was the wait for the harness, not the labor once they had it. If you're still waiting on parts, keep the case open and ask them to call when the kit lands โ a few folks here sat a while before the part caught up.
How complicated can a fix be?Not that anyone should be concerned about their Bronco burning to the ground + maybe starting another Wild Land Fire.
NOT TO BE DRAMATIC OR ANYTHING... BUT I THINK DRIVING A INTERNAL COMBUSTION ENGINE, IN ITSELF. IS JUST AS LIKELY TO START A WILDLAND FIRE, AS THIS ISSUE WITH THE WIRING HARNESS WOULD.
2023 Wildtrak, Iconic Silver, Hard top, ordered 10/5, built 12/13, delivered 1/18

Thank you for yelling that so loudly....
And while it does sound like you do not see any value to this recall (at least that is the message I am receiving) I think you will find there have been several Broncos catch fire and completely burn to an almost unrecognizable state. Not many, but I have definitely read of several. I assume these examples are exactly why Ford would be making this recall. It is after all costing them money to do this. My assumption would be that they have weighed the negative press over additional Broncos spontaneously bursting into flames against the negative press AND cost of preforming a recall.
Or the NHTA or some other lettered agency stepped in and are forcing them to do it before 10 years of chaffing wires starts to burn up all the remaining 6Gs....

I got the recall service complete as well and it took as long as most of you have indicated (1.5 hours).
Luckily, I avoided buying even more Bronco swag during my visit, but I did break down and buy a chocolate chip cookie and a Monster energy drink. I call that a win. ๐
Chris here. I drive "Lebowski," a 2-door Velocity Blue 2023 Ford BroncoBadlandsSasquatch. Lux package. 2.7L V6. Automatic transmission.
