2024 order confirmation

So just an observation from the previous posts. Looks like those that ordered a MY24 in Aug and early Sept 23, had their build dates in Jan. My order was late Sept (Sept 21), and its in early Feb. (Feb 2). So if you add 4-5 months to your MY24 order, you should get an approximate build date range. Though this is just a wild ass guess.

I ordered a MY24 on Aug 21st and have not been scheduled yet. (I ordered mine through Long McArthur Ford and if you are a member of their YouTube Channel they track your vehicle for you with weekly updates.) Mine is a BadLands trim so I think that has something to do with it not being scheduled yet, but not super sure.

Sounds like things are moving along. The only thing I could think of that would hang me up is the tow package but I thought they had that resolved for the most part.

Looks like I'm good to go, can't wait!

I have an order week of 2/12 and a VIN. What are the odds this actually happens?

Sounds like things are moving along. The only thing I could think of that would hang me up is the tow package but I thought they had that resolved for the most part.

I think the 24’s have tow harness standard now correct? I did not add a hitch to avoid delays and they are only $75 on Amazon now.

They do, they come from the factory with tow prep and dealer installs the hitch then programs it. I'm hoping once the 24's are out someone will figure out what codes to change in forscan to open it up. Not sure if what the 21-23 codes are the same for the tow install on forscan.

I ordered it and there is no constraint that I know of. The latest I have seen is this:

The 2024 Ford Bronco lineup will not be available with a two-inch hitch receiver or electrical connector from the factory – save for the Ford Bronco Raptor – and instead, the Trailer Tow Package is now only available as a dealer-installed option for $500. That price includes the 1.4 hours of labor required to install the equipment, which consists of the two-inch Ford trailer hitch, the 4+7 pin electrical connector, and the software update needed to enable the package’s electrical functions.

I am definitely not paying for dealer installed towing. There has to be a work around.

There is a $500 towing option listed on the Bronco build site. The factory installs all the wiring and electronics and the dealer installs the actual hitch and plug in receptacles. They then turn on the system via software. If you don’t want to order it that way, you are welcome to install your own hardware and whatever else. It was $500 before and the factory did it all. Same price now, but its split between the dealer and factory.

I didn’t know all that. But with that being the case, it should not hold up things in the factory end. So that can’t be what would delay my build date. I did also upgrade to the V6 and hard top.

Is yours a two door? I didnt know what specifically was holding up the 2 doors, lots of spec though. Manuals were taken off the option in the march ordering window when I put in my order. Got a confirmation that day. Nothing on it after that. I went to the dealer and forced them o find out if it was cancelled when they cancelled all 23’s on order in November. Then I had to get them to reorder using the same order number. Again, got the confirmation. 2 weeks later I once again went to the dealer and said whats the status. They said they hadn’t heard anything as they punched in the order number. Lo and behold, it was scheduled, and a vin number. If I hadn’t forced it along I don’t think I would have met the reorder window which closed the 1st of dec.! They didn't seem on top of it.
If I have to be a pain in the ass, so be it.

I ordered my 2nd Bronco ( 2dr non SAS badlands with 2.3 and manual) 11/4/23 and got a 1/1/24 production week. It’s already built and at the transport lot here in Michigan. Built only a few hrs away from me

Ordered my 2024 Outer Banks Jan 7th. Notified that my build date is March 4th!! 🙂

Update on mine, it is in Production as of 2/2. Getting closer.

Ordered my 24 Badlands on August 20th and have a build date of March 7th. Not too much longer now!

I ordered the 17th of august and still no email. But if you got yours maybe I'll get mine soon. Also '24 Badlands.

Here's what they told me in chat...

"...My resources show that the status of your 2024 Bronco is still in the status of in order processing. Your estimated time of arrival has not been determined currently...."

It's a Four-Door Hardtop, Cactus Gray with the High/Lux and Sasquatch Package. Ordered it through Long McArthur Ford. (They have a very good YouTube channel which I recommend, lots of useful info and live Q&A) According to their update today there are only 3,734 unscheduled retail orders left in the order bank...yours would be one of them. So, I would not think it will be too much longer man. Keep checking your email!

Today my Badlands Sasquatch order manifested into its delivery to my dealership. I'll take delivery February 15 after the window tint and tow hitch are installed. May the mods begin!
