My dealer called me on Friday and said I have a scheduled week of 05/22 and backed this up with an email that confirmed this on their internal system. My tracker does not reflect the same information ( as mentioned in previous posts ) and my dealer said its probably a glitch in Fords ordering banks. We shall see...............................

Your first mistake was expecting clear and decisive communication from Ford now that the dealer has called you time to sit back and relax it will happen, and you will be one of very few. Congratulations. 👍

What have people heard about the paint problems with the white MOD tops? Someone on another board claims they have a brother that works at the plant and thee is a paint issue that has paused all Heritage edition builds. Who knows if that's true but my build date has been bumped all the way from 3/27 to 5/22. Have ant Heritage editions been buit?

Like everyone else, I continue to wait patiently for my HE 2dr, but in the meantime I was excited to see a real-life example of the removable rear quarter windows in this recent 2023 Ford Bronco Heritage Edition (7-Speed Manual) - POV Review video by TheTopher. While he didn't actually discuss or demonstrate the removable windows, at about 2:15 the camera pans across what is clearly the window latch mechanism shown in the 2023 Owner's Manual as cited earlier in this thread. Here's a screenshot:


If you haven't watched the video yet, I highly recommend it. It's a great walk-around and ride-along as he discusses and demonstrates various aspects that make the HE unique.

Good catch but look at the quality/discoloration of the inside of the top! Are the MIC tops that bad?

Now that the four doors have started in production, does anyone have any insight on how long it will be before the stop build is lifted for the two doors?

That's a great question, but I have no idea. Mine (2dr HE manual) has held steady with a June 26 build week for a little more than a month now after sliding from early April and moving almost every week since originally scheduled. With it being so close now and no recent movement, I'm feeling pretty hopeful that it will stick.

I still have hope. If they get our issue worked out while they are building 4 doors they could probably knock all of ours out in a week.
