"All New Slide Out Tailgate" - DIO or Factory install only

This could have been posted else where but I'm not really sure where.. searching ran me down a rabbit hole or two.

Does anyone know, if the Slide Out Tailgate can be added post build? Does it need to be added to the order, or can it be added as a DIO?

I seem to remember A video ( might be the Eruption green reveal) they said it is only a factory installed part. But that doesn’t mean it can not be added later. I am sure the AM will have something soon
