Bronco Nation exists to make owning a Bronco easier and more enjoyable. Part of that mission includes bringing the community together in person and online. And to do that that better, we needed a new Bronco Nation website.

On Monday morning, you’ll be able to see what our team has been working on for many months: a new version of theBroncoNation.com.

While the look of the site will be slightly different, the features you like will be staying –– and we’re even adding some new ones. What you see next week will be the start of even more to come.

You’re going to experience:
  • A better Member Map, our members-only feature that shows you Bronco communities, trails, campsites, and more all over the country.
  • An easier Events page. We’ve simplified down the steps and added a regional search. You’ll spend less time finding events to attend and creating your own.
  • A much friendlier mobile visit. The majority of you use Bronco Nation on your phone, and we’ve set up the site to be easier to browse and navigate. One thing to note: The Bronco Nation app will be ending. App users, we’d like to welcome you to the site. We’ve kept you in mind since the beginning of this process and went with a mobile-first setup.
  • Better search function across the forums and news articles. We know it hasn’t been great. Now you’ll have an easier time finding information you need.
  • A member dashboard of all your benefits. You’re going to have an easier time finding your member number, seeing what’s available with your membership, and locating partner codes.
We’ll Help You Through the Changes

While plenty of the changes are behind-the-scenes performance or in appearance-only, there are going to be some differences, especially surrounding your individual habits and patterns on BN. These may take getting used to.

Ask us any questions. Give us feedback because we will be doing continued improvements. Tag us here in the forums –– @Laura, @MattR, @London, and @jparker. Your team at Bronco Nation is here to help. This includes our moderators @SlashRacer, @Deano Bronc, and @TK1215, who deserve a special callout and round of applause for helping us get this site shaped up. Mike, Dean, and Tim have dedicated hours upon hours on the new site and with us on the phone, and their work was vital to making this as seamless as an experience for you as possible. Another massive thanks goes to our support teammates of Chris and Nick; we couldn't have done the tech or stayed on track without them.

Things to Note
  • Forum pause: Right now, we are on track to launch the site on Monday morning. This means the forums will pause at 5 p.m. ET this Friday. You can search for answers and read all you want, but you won't be able to post new threads or reply. We'll be posting a top banner across the forums soon to remind you. All our social sites will be up and running, so if you need a question answered, ask us on Facebook or Instagram.
  • Login: When you come back to Bronco Nation on Monday, you will need to log in again. If you know your password or have it saved on your device, this should be simple. If you need to reset it, we've tested the reset button, and it works. If you have any trouble, contact us at [email protected].
  • Having issues? If you find bugs or are having any issues at all, drop them here or DM me or @MattR. I will be showing off where some of the new features and adjustments are early Monday morning in this thread.
  • Reminder: The Bronco Nation app will be ending. We're still finding out if that's going to be a hard stop or if it will just stop updating. I'll let you know once we know.
We love our community here and can’t wait to make it even easier for all of us to connect around the vehicle we’re passionate about!

I really hope things start improving soon- I've been trying to hang in there and be patient, but I'm getting really tired of re-typing responses in threads because when I hit the "post" button, my response vanishes. Ironically, @BuckYeah did a status update, and I typed the following response (and did it no less than 5 different times, even logging out and back in to try to get it to work, and it never posted). This is getting old

dammit, this new forum is killing me. I just typed out a long response about how tired I am of the "it was worth the wait" posts, and nothing is worth a ~2 year wait, but in the end - you'll be super happy once you get it.. and I hit the 'post' button, and it disappeared. So, cliffs notes version (and I'm copying this to my clipboard in case it vanishes again - and I'm glad I did, because once again, nothing happened when I hit 'post'), is - congratulations, and you're gonna love it - I hope you get it by Christmas! and hopefully this forum will start working better than a 1976 Jaguar sometime soon.
Thank you, Mark. I appreciate the (repeated) effort. You’re already livin’ the dream and I’m very happy for you. By the way, I’ll be sharing an update with you and Bronco Nation at large when I get home from work. It’s about my Challenger rendering. 😉

That’s crazy. I use my IPad exclusively and I don’t have that issue. The speed issues had been completely gone up until this morning. Now it is running super slow. I am gonna dive in and see what I can see!

thanks .. I gave up trying to use my iphone for the forum, it would keep bouncing back and forth between the BN app and the website, so I just deleted the app and then was having problems with constantly being logged out on the mobile version of the website - so I haven't tried that in a bit.

I’m communicating with the dev team about it. There is no indication when you get logged out or why you get logged out.

I feel like the new site is constantly reloading/refreshing on several different types of actions and then logs the user out.

I severely disliked the app. I only use the website.

Okay, maybe a new bug, maybe not... hard to keep track and I tried reading through first...

When I have a topic up, and come back to it later (like a few hours or a day), and refresh... I still show as logged in at the top, and it may show new replies, but I cannot reply or like or react in any way. I have to exit the topic, then come back to it. It's kinda odd. I've tried refreshing, etc., but seems I always have to exit the thread and come back. Otherwise it acts like I'm not logged in or something?

This has happened to me too.

I thought I saw somewhere that the app is no longer supported with the new BN site?

I keep trying to tag you or @Laura about the fact that it still logs me out every single time I leave this website and come back to it on mobile (Android). Any updates on this or is it only happening to me? I can't keep logging in every few minutes as this is getting super frustrating

The Bronco Nation app is no more. They quit supporting that the day they rolled out Bronco Nation 2.0. I think they even mentioned that here in this thread. I was a heavy user of the app. I have since moved over to the site on my phone's browser. I think the site automatically detects what kind of device it's speaking to and alters its appearance accordingly. At least I think that's how it works. It doesn't look like the app, but it also isn't a tiny version of what you see on your home computer. It couldn't be. It would be nearly impossible to use! The app may still speak to Bronco Nation's server, but everyone should migrate away from it and just use the web version of the Bronco Nation website on their phones.

I also get logged out each time I leave the website (chrome). Is there a way to set a preference to stay logged in?

We believe this logout issue has been resolved with a hotfix release we pushed to production early this morning. Please let me know if you experience logging out issues moving forward.

I noticed that I was logged out a few times as well in recent weeks, but attributed it to my phone needing an update. (iPhone X with Safari browser) I don't think it has happened again. Thanks for exterminating those pesky bugs!

Also... THANK YOU for adding the little "Original Poster" icon under the OP's handle each time they respond. It is a very practical and useful tidbit of information, especially in multi-page threads. 😃

The alerts disappearing from the pop up page, after viewing just one, iss that still being looked at?
I know you can just go to show all at the bottom, but if that's the case, can the bell alert button just take us there every time?

I agree. I think it's safe to say people know my name isn't "Buck Yeah." If it was, I'd probably hate my parents for naming me that. This is precisely the reason I added my real name to my signature line. I don't think it's an invasion of privacy to display a person's first name. If it is, then members should be able to withhold it.

The only potential problem is if there are multiple members with the same first name commenting on the same thread. It could get confusing if someone references someone else's remark without being completely clear. Handles are unique, albeit impersonal.

Heads up with the Gear Store -- remember how you used to have two accounts (one for the forums, one for the store), and if you hadn't activated the Gear account but just signed up with your forum account, it wouldn't recognize you or show discounts, etc, etc, etc. ... in other words, inefficient and confusing?

We did an update that will automatically bring you in to your account if you're a Bronco Nation member (hooray!). The heads up is that until your cache clears or you manually clear, you may be getting an "invalid multipass request" error.
