Bronco Nation exists to make owning a Bronco easier and more enjoyable. Part of that mission includes bringing the community together in person and online. And to do that that better, we needed a new Bronco Nation website.

On Monday morning, you’ll be able to see what our team has been working on for many months: a new version of theBroncoNation.com.

While the look of the site will be slightly different, the features you like will be staying –– and we’re even adding some new ones. What you see next week will be the start of even more to come.

You’re going to experience:
  • A better Member Map, our members-only feature that shows you Bronco communities, trails, campsites, and more all over the country.
  • An easier Events page. We’ve simplified down the steps and added a regional search. You’ll spend less time finding events to attend and creating your own.
  • A much friendlier mobile visit. The majority of you use Bronco Nation on your phone, and we’ve set up the site to be easier to browse and navigate. One thing to note: The Bronco Nation app will be ending. App users, we’d like to welcome you to the site. We’ve kept you in mind since the beginning of this process and went with a mobile-first setup.
  • Better search function across the forums and news articles. We know it hasn’t been great. Now you’ll have an easier time finding information you need.
  • A member dashboard of all your benefits. You’re going to have an easier time finding your member number, seeing what’s available with your membership, and locating partner codes.
We’ll Help You Through the Changes

While plenty of the changes are behind-the-scenes performance or in appearance-only, there are going to be some differences, especially surrounding your individual habits and patterns on BN. These may take getting used to.

Ask us any questions. Give us feedback because we will be doing continued improvements. Tag us here in the forums –– @Laura, @MattR, @London, and @jparker. Your team at Bronco Nation is here to help. This includes our moderators @SlashRacer, @Deano Bronc, and @TK1215, who deserve a special callout and round of applause for helping us get this site shaped up. Mike, Dean, and Tim have dedicated hours upon hours on the new site and with us on the phone, and their work was vital to making this as seamless as an experience for you as possible. Another massive thanks goes to our support teammates of Chris and Nick; we couldn't have done the tech or stayed on track without them.

Things to Note
  • Forum pause: Right now, we are on track to launch the site on Monday morning. This means the forums will pause at 5 p.m. ET this Friday. You can search for answers and read all you want, but you won't be able to post new threads or reply. We'll be posting a top banner across the forums soon to remind you. All our social sites will be up and running, so if you need a question answered, ask us on Facebook or Instagram.
  • Login: When you come back to Bronco Nation on Monday, you will need to log in again. If you know your password or have it saved on your device, this should be simple. If you need to reset it, we've tested the reset button, and it works. If you have any trouble, contact us at [email protected].
  • Having issues? If you find bugs or are having any issues at all, drop them here or DM me or @MattR. I will be showing off where some of the new features and adjustments are early Monday morning in this thread.
  • Reminder: The Bronco Nation app will be ending. We're still finding out if that's going to be a hard stop or if it will just stop updating. I'll let you know once we know.
We love our community here and can’t wait to make it even easier for all of us to connect around the vehicle we’re passionate about!

The site ghosted you!
Turns out only mods, staff, and the development team are showing as updated. We were wondering where y'all went in reports, past the obvious. We're working on this.

Could that have anything to do with the lack of people showing on line?

We have an update coming that makes the whole area clickable, not just the link (but your link SHOULD be clickable, so we can examine that), and yes, if you click the alerts, it will mark them all as read (but should still be viewable). Updates to this area should be coming soon.

We're exploring it; all who haven't used the backend but are here seem to have a last seen date of nearly a month ago. My date was still yesterday until I logged into the cms.

Okay, maybe a new bug, maybe not... hard to keep track and I tried reading through first...

When I have a topic up, and come back to it later (like a few hours or a day), and refresh... I still show as logged in at the top, and it may show new replies, but I cannot reply or like or react in any way. I have to exit the topic, then come back to it. It's kinda odd. I've tried refreshing, etc., but seems I always have to exit the thread and come back. Otherwise it acts like I'm not logged in or something?

They are aware and are working on it

I feel like the forums are still degrading. Last two days have been really bad reliability wise. I’m getting logged out a lot, and half my posts throw up errors saying I don’t have permission to post.

When we added the last set of updates (like jump to last read), it breaks the log in function. They're working on it. But we hit the same speed as the old site today.

Great! I’d have liked your comment instead of replying but that wasn’t an option. 😅

I agree with the others about the speed. We've definitely found the "Sport" G.O.A.T. mode!

Now, about this rumored "Dark Mode"... when can I take off my sunglasses? 😎
Chris here. I drive a 2-door Velocity Blue 2023 Ford Bronco Badlands with Sasquatch, Lux, a 2.7L V6, and an automatic transmission. It’s fun.

Mobile log in fix has been deployed.

And dark mode is coming in our first release (we have been doing hotfixes, weekly patches, and coming soon is a release).

Schweet! I'm very happy with the site's progress. Keep up the great work. I appreciate all your efforts.

Will the site go down for a spell or will it be an instantaneous refresh?

Thanks for the note. We are working on a hotfix for the logout issue. We'll keep you posted on this progress.

I will DM you to get more details so we can replicate and look into it.

Good question, we plan our updates (patch releases) during off hours (2am - 5am EDT).

I really hope things start improving soon- I've been trying to hang in there and be patient, but I'm getting really tired of re-typing responses in threads because when I hit the "post" button, my response vanishes. Ironically, @BuckYeah did a status update, and I typed the following response (and did it no less than 5 different times, even logging out and back in to try to get it to work, and it never posted). This is getting old

dammit, this new forum is killing me. I just typed out a long response about how tired I am of the "it was worth the wait" posts, and nothing is worth a ~2 year wait, but in the end - you'll be super happy once you get it.. and I hit the 'post' button, and it disappeared. So, cliffs notes version (and I'm copying this to my clipboard in case it vanishes again - and I'm glad I did, because once again, nothing happened when I hit 'post'), is - congratulations, and you're gonna love it - I hope you get it by Christmas! and hopefully this forum will start working better than a 1976 Jaguar sometime soon.
