Did the Dirt Mountain name catch on over here too?

Anyway, this is my 21 2dr Badlands, 2.3 7MT, non-Sas, VB, high package, with tow. I got my reservation in about 3 hours after it opened up way back on that fateful night. I was first given a VIN in April of 21, with a build date that kept getting pushed out before landing on August 9th, 2021. Then the hard top fiasco blew up and it was banished to Dirt Mountain.

Fast forward to February 1st, 2022, I was tied for last known Bronco off Dirt Mountain and I finally took delivery. I quickly put a Bestop and Mickey Thompson 35s on it. 3 months later I sucked up a rock into the wheel well while wheeling Compressor Creek in north Idaho which resulted in $5000 in repairs.

Since then I've been modifying it constantly and breaking something nearly every time I wheel it. One thing I never did break was a tie rod, but being concerned about it and finding that OEM tie rods were on back order, I started looking for alternatives and discovered the now famous Ranger tie rod.

That tie rod ended up snowballing into a full fledged business as I came up with a complete repair kit. That's a topic for another post.

Currently it's sitting on Icon EXPs in the front and stock Bilsteins in the back with a 1" spacer, all with 4dr V6 springs. I had a Warn Evo10 on a RC high mount but bent the mount and my frame, so now I'm building my own front bumper with tucked in winch mount. I have a JKS high clearance kit to install.

I'm shopping for some 37s to go with my new clearance. I had a set of 37x14.5x17 SX2s that I tried to put on some Sas wheels with true beadlock rings but they are too wide and the bead is too thick. Thinking about getting Patagonias now.

My Patagonia 37s came in today. Next to a 37x14.5 SX2 and the Territory.

I hope it's been long enough to laugh about......When rocks turn the tables on rock crawling. Never heard of a rock crawling a truck before.

That's a fine collection. Mine will join a 65 IH Loadstar and 68 Datsun Roadster as my classics collection. I have an affinity for that decade.

I drove my black sheep of the family today for the first time since I picked it up last fall and wheeled it the next day. Honestly this is a terrible vehicle. 😂

Went out and did Bronco things.

I've only been driving my truck and the Bronco 2 lately trying to see what life without the 6G would be like.

I don't like it!

Probably keeping it now.

I've been throwing buckets of cash at the 66. I have the drivetrain plan dialed in and everything purchased. 2.3/AX15/Ecobox/NP205. Decided to use my Super Duty axles built with 5.38s and e-lockers, but I will be narrowing them to 65-66", which can be done with the right combination of off the shelf shafts.

This week I'm going fishing on the coast and have multiple stops planned along the way to get parts. Glass hood, disc brakes for the D30 (going to run stock axles for a little while), roll bar, etc.

I dropped the 21 off at the dealer yesterday to have the windshield camera looked at. The service advisor said it was likely my fault for putting the lift on. We'll see how this goes.

Don't mind me...

I got the 21 back from the dealer. Ended up being the camera needed to be recalibrated for the lift. I'm not sure how I got so unlucky as I know other people with bigger lifts have not needed it. So that one was out of pocket.

I also had them look at my cracked airbag cover. They initially denied it as being covered so I called customer service and they helped get it reversed. The airbag came in and I have to go back in for it next week.

I just got Bronco back after a week's visit at Ford for the 7MT TSB. Sounds good so far.

I nabbed some Eibach Pro 2.0s last month and am going to try to get them installed this weekend. I'd also like to get my JKS crash bar delete, Boss4x4 track bar riser, and RC rack bushings installed if time permits.

I'll be interested in hearing your impressions of the Eibach kit. Seems like a great value and so far the feedback has been pretty positive. I would assume you went with a slightly heavier front spring?
They are on my wish list but hard to spend that kind of money at the moment.

I will share my thoughts after a few miles. It looks like a nice kit and is priced decently if you catch a sale.

I didn't see an option for different springs. I'm running 4dr V6 springs now and they are a bit harsh, I'm hoping these ride better.
