Floor liners for washout floors?

My in-laws bought me a gift cert for weather tech that I figured I would use for floor liners. The site however says only they cut to fit liners work with the Black Diamonds. I assume this is due to the washout floors and the grip pegs o their liners not interacting well. Has anyone come across this issue and know more about it? Figure I will use the gift cert to get a cargo area tray instead, but do you need/want floor liners with the washout floors? If so, can anyone recommend some that are "compatible" with the wash-out floors in Black Diamonds?

The wash out floors are the final layer of the floor.
I also received the “included” cheap carpet inserts with the panel bags.
I accesssorized (when I ordered) for the additional rubber floor mats.
I’m thrilled I did. As after driving it in a winter event, (the next day) after the snow had melted on the mats , they were covered with the white powdery salt residue. Very easy pull out , clean and reinstall.
As for the carpet…
My Buddy put his in and the Gals love it as the carpet doesn’t scuff their heels & leather. If / when they take it out to dinner or something.

I really like the Ford over rubber washout floor liners! With the Bronco logos and especially the bucking Bronc on the rear mat! And hey Laura, they work great for catching coffee 😅 also mud , road salt and all the other grime.20230115_093429.jpg

I have heard that the washout floor is pretty easy to tear so I bought the Ford ones for my Badlands during the order process. Also got the cargo liner from Ford. It will be a lot easier to clean taking the liners out and not hosing out the floor. I mainly got the wash out floor for dog hair! You can never get it all out of the carpet without losing hours in your day!
I think any heavyduty floor mat with raised edges will serve your purpose. Keep the carpet pieces in the back and bring them out for when people are wearing their better footwear, and/or the dog isn't with you. You can remove a setup like Weathertek and give it a good scrubbing and hose rinse. My carwash has a carpet shampoo machine: you feed it in, it shampoos and dries it (mostly), it comes out at the other end. Easy-peasy!

Did you put any velcro on the rear mats?

I bought the molded to fit rubber liners as an option on my Basesquatch. Basically, Ford's version of Weather Tech liners, except Ford's are crap quality. I don't expect the driver's mat to last more than a couple of years. My advice is to skip those on the build sheet and buy Weather Techs.

I must have gotten a good prototype set! 😂 I all honesty the set i have are pretty thick and are holding up pretty well. have had them out a few times at car wash to clean them up and have taken the direct spray of high-pressure hose like a champ. Lots of salt, mud and gravel dust, Nebraska winter

Not with the Weathertek. Not saying Weathertek has a monopoly on quality: you might find others with equivalent fit and quality at a cheaper price, but I'm very satisfied with mine, front and back (4Dr, MIC).

I love the weather tech and Husky brands. I think I will get the Ford ones though. I really want to use my Ford Pass Points. My wife has the Ford ones in her Escape. Perfect fit and very durable

As long as you get the product that serves you best.
Ever think of trading in that Escape for a Sport? 😆

Interesting…I know mine didn’t come with them so I mulled it over for awhile since I had to wait almost 1.5 for it to be built and decided to tell dealer to add the floor mats to my order. Should be getting my bronco any day/week now so I will take a look and see if I was charged but B&P most definitely says it is a $160 add on for the Ford ones with your build.
Went and looked at my new BD last night (picking it up in a few days). They had at least front and maybe more carpeted mats in the trunk. I didn't order/pay for them, so I guess they are standard.

Picked up the Ford liners for my BL with washout floors. Fronts snap right in and fit perfect. The rears don’t snap in but they fit really snug and won’t be sliding around.

This is my driver's floor mat at 20K miles. This is where my right heel rests while driving. There will be hole here before 40K miles. These mats are garbage.
