You can fit two of these:

Into here:

And save yourself $300 dollars, not clutter up your engine/door/storage, AND have clean air going into your compressor.

They even sell you a relay and wiring for free with these!

With a little gumption you can even take that hard earned cash you saved and put two of these in:

I've installed the K&N Cold Air Intake Box. Any known issues with fitment?

I can't answer that. I'm all factory...

I also used the KR mounting bracket also.
I am attaching several photos from the compressor to the battery and to the upfitter switch wires.

I went same location for my "single" compressor. Made my own bracket to mimic what you purchased. I will say though, I'm not happy with how hot that thing gets just from the engine. I would prefer the behind the spare tire mount, might try to fabricate my own in the future.

I've had the ARB envy... and went with some Chinese model off of eBay that looks just like ARB 😉 Not as good, but does the trick for now.

Notice to the right of the hitch receiver. That is the ARB quick hose connect/coupler. I have the Grimm Offroad mount under hood with the Grimm stainless braided hose line running to back of Bronco. As I stated in earlier post, I have it connected to my AUX 6 switch to power on and off. I also bought Kleinn Air Horns Remote Quick Connect Coupler Relocation Bracket Kit 1302 just for the bracket for the coupler.

I have the ThorsLightning compressor mounted with their "Refuge" molle cage over the right rear wheel well--it's secured with the hardtop Torx bolts. So I run my hose system out the back hatch to my tires,, where the manifold/pressure gauge is. My installer put a remote switch (about $30 from Amazon, below) next to the Thor compressor (their rebranded and altered NAPA), so I can control it from around the truck if a hose chuck should fall off or something.
But your using the Aux switch got me to thinking: you're up in the front, the compressor is chugging away somewhere else, your switch is up here, the compressor is...your pressure gauge is...where?....oh yeah! on the dash panel!
Next time I'm airing up, I think I'll sit in the front with my remote and monitor my air pressure on the dash panel.

Hey @BostonBadlands - how do you like the connecting hoses from the Thor's lightning kit? Any issues or problems? they use a ball valve for connecting the maniforld to the air source instead of a slide valve like the morflate kit right?

It looks like the same made-in-china product. My Bay State buddy Delli555 has the Morflate, and the manifold/gauge are identical except for the markings. I got a defective one from Thors, and I found the chucks a bit temperamental, and called Elias Brown (owner) who sent replacements right away, so all good now.
I think their "Refuge" over-the-(right)wheel well mounting (molle) cage (4-Dr, Hardtop only) (patent-pending, I believe) is the best solution for the NAPA-based systems. Very happy with it. Elias also said there will be a Memorial Day sale, "better than 10%," NFI. They're in Colorado. If you order, mention the Boston cop, he'll know.

I plan on going hardtop with Anderson. Will the Refuge be compatible now???

I wouldn't know. If that's a rebrand of the NAPA 300lpm two-cylinder, then my guess is that it would. The "Refuge" mounts on the 3 4-DR hardtop Torx bolt over the rear wheel well, plus one bolt from the top rear corner of the cage to the rollbar. You unscrew the compressor's bottom plate, discard it, then use those screws through the bottom of the Refuge into the bottom of the compressor. I'm guessing that all the NAPA 300 lpm two cylinders are the same here. Just don't sue me if I'm wrong!

Those Torx bolts do triple-duty for me. They secure the hardtop, natch, plus the Trailrax PaxRak, plus the Thor Refuge. I don't think I'll ever be taking off the rear-most hardtop!

Serious advisory: Be careful not to over-tork those hardtop bolts!

Hey - I'm trying to do the same thing but can't figure out how you mounted that Kleinn bracket. Any more pics or tips? Looks like you mounted directly to the rear frame, but can't understand how you got threaded nuts in there or if you used self-tappers, etc. Maybe two long threaded bolts all the way through both sides of the frame? Thanks.

I used self tapping. Went in real easy as best I can remember.

I have a Thors lightning in a hard case, and next will buy the total control manifold that will attach to the system… this way I can easily move the system between rigs, and for me it works great…

Right! Perfect for throwing into the back of your Genesis GV60 Performance AWD. You nver know when those Michelin Primacy All-Seasons might need a pound or two! 😏

I got the total control manifold when they did the presale over the summer. Its a cool little unit. It makes the airing up and down, very easy. Mine needs to be calibrated (its like 2 PSI off), but I havent gotten around to doing that just yet- just Kentucky Windaging my target numbers when I set it. I didnt think I was going to find it that useful, but at the end of the day (and cerainly at the end of a trail day), I am lazy and this makes things marginally easier. 😁
