Welcome to the Bronco Nation Forum! These forums are designed for you to connect with other enthusiasts, ask questions, or help other users find answers to their questions. Below are our core principles to show you what the Bronco Nation is all about. Enjoy!

The Ford Bronco is an American icon.
The Ford Bronco helped create the sport utility vehicle category and despite being out of the market for 25 years, remains one of the most admired off-road icons of the 20th century. Our goal at the Bronco Nation, is to create an ownership experience worthy of the Bronco name. A community like no other, anywhere on the planet, that makes enjoying the outdoors, the ownership experience, and the camaraderie of other owners, effortless and enjoyable.

All are welcome
The point of the Bronco Nation community is to include people from diverse backgrounds, skill levels, and life stages in their ownership experiences and lifestyles. Regardless of whether this is your first Bronco or just one of many, you are considered a welcome member to the Bronco family.โ€ฏ

A connection with nature is paramount
We believe a connection with the great outdoors and great experiences is a key to living. It gives us perspective, keeps us grounded, and feeds the explorer and wanderer deep in our DNA. As a community we will do our best to bring this out of all our members through events and experiences that are designed to push the boundaries.

Leave it better than you found it
This statement says it all. Our community is not about tearing up the lands we all enjoy; it is about using them while preserving them with a goal of leaving it better than we found it.

Safety is paramount
Safety first. The trip defines the needs. Research, ask questions, and investigate the requirements of any journey before you start. We prefer epic tales of adventure without bad endings.

We are better together
We donโ€™t own information any more than we own the great outdoors. Share information freely and openly; we create a stronger community that way.

Be kind and be considerate.
Itโ€™s that simple.

Help each other and engage in the smallest of interactions
This is what community is all about. Remember that no one has all the answers and we all started somewhere. Patience and kindness go a long way in all areas of the Bronco Nation.

Have fun
We will never lose sight of why we created this community and we will do our best to facilitate an environment that is entertaining, informative and fun!

New to the forum and wanted to introduce myself! Dave and the owner of a 2022 Base manual 2.3. 3500 miles so far and loving it! Here for inspiration and information and maybe to join a few meet ups down here in sunny Florida. I have added some accessories to the interior like RC neoprene seat covers, floor mats, trim and a bikini top. I have ordered and will be adding rock slider/running boards and may look to a 17" wheel and 33" tire combo at some point. Happy to chime in when I have something intelligent to add and definitely not shy. Glad to be here and hope yall have an amazing weekend.

Cool truck and love the flag on your tire cover! Welcome, I just got here as well.

Welcome! Nice looking Base! Love those wheels! May I ask about your bikini top? Do you have a lot of wind noise (stupid question because you may have never had another type of bikini top on any other vehicle)? Can you have the bikini top on with your hard top on (and if so, does it work that way with a soft top)? Who makes it? TIA. I'm not sure if I'm overly happy with my mesh bimini top. It has it's pluses, but I think I'm going to look into seeing if there is a better option.
Hi y'all, Lauri here and I am the proud owner of a MY21 Badlands, SAS, 2.7 auto, 4 door, soft top, Cactus Gray, no reservation, ordered 9/11/21, Took delivery 1/8/22!

Hey Darrel! It is a custom made canvas top from a member on BG6. I will PM you his info. Wind noise is still there ( I had a 89 Bronco, jeeps and still have my 1994 Mustang GT convertible ๐Ÿ˜Ž ) but what is NOT there is the incessant flapping noises I got with 2 different mesh tops I tried. Right up to 75mph, no flapping. You can put the top on over it. You just need to remove 3 bungies and good to go! Hope that helps!

Just a funny side note, my wife likes the forums as well and was the first to read this response and she was like "why is a guy asking me about my bikini top" LOL! ๐Ÿ˜‚

Yes, it is the flapping noise! The bimini top has magnets to hold it down along the top of the windshield and that is where the problem is, I think. However, I do want to get the top fully down and then work with it some and see if that helps. But, please PM when you get a chance. I'm on B6G forums as well - well when I want to be on there. I can go look.

Tell your wife I said Hi. Y'all realize that I am a girl (well, full disclosure, I'm an old lady). I named my Bronco on the way to the dealership to order it. And, then someone at the dealership told me about BN and I signed up right away and used the name of my Bronco for my tag name. So, I talk about my husband and I sound like...well, you know - nothing wrong with that. So, I changed my signature line, but, many people don't read those. Wait until you start meeting people in person that you met through BN 1st. Now I have 2 names to remember and I struggle with just one. LOL!

Thanks @Anvilair! I think I'm RioRanchoBroncoGirl or something really long like that over there. Let your wife know I also go topless in my Bronco! LOL. The "bikini" and "topless" thing gets awkward in mixed company.

Hey folks, just dipping my toes in the the Big Bronco waters. I've had a Bronco Sport Badlands for 2 years now. It's been a great car but I am considering trading for a Bronco. I'll be asking some questions to see if it's the right decision.

Just picked up my new 23 Wildtrak on Saturday so here I am. I'll be scouring the pages for the necessities in the next couple of days but if anyone has recommendations for the best step bars/slider steps please feel free to give me some feedback. I'm looking for something that will have a wider step and also give a little protection from rocks getting thrown up from the road. My wife and kids are struggling to get in without an assist from me. I've ordered sill protection film and the OEM Putco sill plates but if I don't get them a step they are going to chew up the paint on the sills pretty quick. I'm also considering changing the front bumper to the modular one unless there is a better option. Thanks for the add.

That carbonized gray is sharp! What @Roughstock11 said. That would be a good thread to start with. And, you could get the rock sliders from Ford with your points. IAG and Archtype Racing make stirrups and full length steps that clamp onto the sliders, real fast and they come off real fast for wheeling.

@StaMic006 I put the Ford Rock rails on my wildtrak and did what @Darrel suggested and bought them with points so I was only like $15 in shipping out of pocket. Its a super easy install- Not even a full beer project.

I would also look at some mudflaps. The first week I had the truck there was constantly gravel hitting the rockers and doors. That cut way way back after I put on the flaps. You can get an expensive set of those with ford points too- I think @BuckYeah has them on his truck. I have the RokBloxs on mine and they are hilariously overpriced, but they were a gift and they work well. Folks are also having good results with the Mabet ones too.

Correct. I installed the Gatorbacks on mine because I like that you can remove the lower halves to accommodate challenging terrain. Theyโ€™re obscenely expensive but I offset the cost by using most of my Ford Pass points.
