Are you kidding me? Every day! Between the things I did as a kid, then the Army, and the stuff that I went through being a police officer? I'm surprised that I made it 37 years on this job so far! Never deployed with the Army, but we did some stupid stuff with artillery simulators...yeah.

Good morning! Happy Wednesday. I've made a pot of coffee to get over the hump in the week. Grab a cup.
I parked in the right garage yesterday. I only got lost in the office once yesterday. And I was able to find my Bronco last night on the 1st try. I'm making progress.
I will be sent stuff to go in the system and put it all in and then will be "assessed" for what training I need.
And before I left, I got to help 2 people on my team understand what a client was needing. It was an odd request that I've gotten once before. When I explained, it made sense to them that this customer would be needing this.
It feels good to be useful.

a wid FB group has a 24/7 zoom too. But AI photo stuff has been a "thing" the past month or so. Now it is black and white photo leaning against a wall. Another lady on zoom did this for me. Never found out where she got a photo of me. I look like I'm in pain. Lol

Good Morning! I’ve been away for a few days busy with boring chores and errands. I am glad to see that @Darrel started her new job and has a great first week!

I did have some fun on Saturday on a NM4W ride in the Caja del Rio mesa area west of Santa Fe. I had a great day as the lone Bronco surrounded by Jeeps…LOL. We climbed up a steep 300 ft rocky trail to the top of a hill and one of the Jeep guys on the radio asked how the Bronco was doing. I keyed up the radio and laughed, then told them if you’d ever rode in a Bronco you wouldn’t ask…LOL.

I was alarmed by the lack of snow in the mountains north of Santa Fe. They are usually packed with a lot more snow before the start of Spring

Precipitation-wise, we got caught up this winter. I bought my Badlands Sas in '22, and only this winter was there enough snow to consider it serious snow-driving. Nothing but 1-inchers which soon became slush until this January and February.

Do you know that the Bear River used to flow northwest and merge with the Snake/Columbia watershed? Somewhere along the line (pun unintended) it got bent southward into the Great Salt Lake. Now, along with the Jordan, it's the main tributary to the Salt Lake. Some people are worried that the Salt Lake's water level is dropping, but it's always gone down and up, up and down.

Good Thursday Morning, Kids!
We woke up to blowing snow this morning, and more than one thought of wishing we had extended our stay in Arizona THIS year (we’re planning two months there next year)… Hanging in place today before heading over the Blues and Rockies tomorrow for the final stretches of our 6,000 miles road trip into the Land of the Sun…

Just peeked at Wickenburg weather and it has cooled somewhat since our visit, as today will be a comfortable -30° with some wind. Sunny that I’ve mentioned on FB posts how much we enjoyed SxS’s with our hosts, and now my FB feed is littered with Polaris and CanAm Ads… Now another thing to study and think about in terms of sizes, trail track width (anywhere from 50”-72ish”) HP, and more goodies (mods) than you can shake a stick at… Thanks a lot, Scott (@Lots O Fords)…

If you’re out and about and your roads suck, Be safe out there… Pray for our warriors as we monitor the happenings in the Middle East, where we learned this morning some good friends are for the moment stranded (in Israel)…

Howdy from sunny Arizona. The weather is perfect. Gotta do some work today and plan some sort of desert adventure.

I just got a set of headset radios so 4 people in two different sxs can communicate. Needed something because they are so dang loud that the radios we use in the bronco can't be heard.

And the bronco also has a new radio. It's still a handheld. I got a Rockytalky. My Midland sets work well, except for battery life. The Rockytalky rechargeable with USB. And since Moab is coming I have to add something to the Bronco, right?

Just read last week the Bear River is the longest in the country that doesn’t flow directly into an ocean.

The Nile is the longest river in the world, but if you consider the Mississippi-Missouri as one continuous river, we get the bragging rights.
(But you spent your working life in education, didn't you? So you knew that. Oh, well.)
