Good Morning! I love those old posters that
@Sam I Am 1966 posted. As a car freak, I remember all the car ads from the 1960ās to present. As a tween, I leaned how to drive in my Dadās red with white grill 1966 Ford F100 with a straight 6-cylinder and manual on the steering column. It was advertised to have a tough Twin-I-Beam suspension. I have some good memories of my Dad teaching me how install new valves and grind the valve surfaces, and install new lifters and valve springs, flush the radiator, install a new thermostat and hoses, and change the beltsā¦all at 100,000 miles for preventative maintenance. He put 160,000 miles on it before trading it for a 1972 Ford Galaxy 500 station wagon because we need a larger family car.
Iām headed out to the desert again today to do more exploring.
Have a great day everybody!
