Good morning my Libations Crew family!
I have a pot of Folders for anyone needing a 3rd or 4th cup.
I took the Bronco to Mild to Wild yesterday afternoon. The owner wS able to tweak the damage the step caused as I ripped it off on a ledge on Saturday. I can now open and close the passenger rear door!
Got a fuse for my air compressor. Had a 35 fuse. They didn't have one. They suggested that 30 may work and advised not to try 40. Hope to get the new fuse in and try it before I need to leave for a doctor's appointment.
Mild to Wild owner said to bring in the steps and they will see if they are bent and if they can weld the broken clasp. I will also bring in my stirrups so I can learn how they attach. My right hip and left foot can't tolerate getting in and out without steps. And I need them to flop the top back and forth. So hopefully tomorrow I can get that addressed.
Got the oil change and tire rotation scheduled for Thursday and Friday.
Hope to do 2 trails on Saturday that I did in my Rubicon. I'm sure my stock Bronco will tackle them like the champ that she is. And, I will not have any steps on her, some severe ledges and waterfalls on these trails.

Have a good day! Stay safe. Hug the ones you love!

Here's a pic of me from Thursday and my new plate. Got enough rock rash so that people will know the type of WLD I am. Lol

I woke up this morning and looked out the window. Noticed that my Bronco was encased in ice, as well as my driveway. I made a couple of cups of coffee for my wife and I, then went back to bed and took a vacation day. 358 days left of this Hell!

Dang. I thought we were getting Ice Cream! Going to be 78 in Dallas today. I may need to make that happen.
I turn 79 in May, you young whippersnapper!

In 2022, I turned 75. Close to my birthday, a dealership texted me a video of a Badlands Sasquatch Lux cancelled order.
So here I am.
When people ask if I feel like I'm "getting on," I ask them, "How many septuagenerians do you know are changing tires 45 miles from pavement, 70 miles from services? Snake Valley, western Juab County, Utah

Happy birthday, you old geezer!

Good morning. Waiting on them to change the oil, oil filter and air and cabin filters.
Ordered new air compressor. Fuse didn't work and it smells like burnt wires. A Vevor, 2 cylinder, 10.6 CFM. Maybe I won't hold people up any more.
Mild to Wild has the steps. Attached the stirrups myself yesterday. My trail tool bag had a ratchet and allen socket. It fit the screws (bolts). Yes, I'm in over my head, but llearning..
Balance & rotate tomorrow.
At least my days keep me on topic for this thread.
Have a great day. Stay safe. Hug the ones you love!

I’ve got the same stirrups on my Bronco, @Darrel. I love them. They make getting in and out of my Bronco so much easier. I wish the company that produced them didn’t fold and default on my order for a console hand grip, though. Still, I do appreciate what I got from them. Love the Bronco meme. Have a great day!

I'm glad I kept them, ccause I need them. And glad I ordered and received the full size steps before they folded.
Fingers crossed that the one clamp can be repaired. 2 bolts were sheared.

So, was thinking about BN and membership and such this week (I live a quiet life)…. I wasn’t sure how the Broncos sales have gone since the 6G introduction, and had read many time here and across BN how “badly” sales were going and how Ford missed the boat, the rigs were overpriced, blah blah blah (a lot of negative from our resident troll who I believe has never purchased a Bronco)…. Anyway, I digress…

From a sales PoV, the Bronco has continued to increase in sales each year since it was re-introduced, with 2025 selling a record 145,000+ units (this number does NOT include Sports)…

I’m curious, @Laura whether our membership numbers have held, increased, or decreased (surely that’s not a secret)… I don’t know how many paid staff are still with BN, but I’m REALLY impressed with the product y‘all put out and am glad to be a part of this illustrious group…

We all have our druthers, 2 vs 4 door, stock vs highly modified, and everything in between… What’s great is for the most part we have accepted each other and learned to live with the diversity that is us…. If only we could learn to do the same away from Bronco Nation… Ford sometimes seems crazy with its trim and option choices, but they keep selling the Bronco quite successfully, so I for one will give them the benefit of the doubt…

Ok, off my soap box for this evening…

No secret! I don't know the current numbers (I'm not in those meetings), but I know we are over 110k strong with Bronco and Sport owners.

The members are what make the community great. It's so exciting when someone new pops in and is ready to enjoy their Bronco with other owners. Robert always stressed we formed Bronco Nation for the people, not the vehicle. I'm glad leadership went that route, and I hope current and future staff will always carry that torch by welcoming people to the community and getting them together online and in person. The Bronco is a blast but our friends we make using it are what really matters.

Well, can't answer any of your questions. But, we were discussing various trims at the monthly car show we support at a coffee shop once a month (we go so we can just stand around and talk). Bronco does have a lot of trims and I tried to explain the differences. We agreed it was confusing. But then I asked about the Wrangler/Gadiators. Wilson, Moab, Rubicon, Sport. Why so many different ones? What are the differences. Yeah, kind of confusing. And Jeep peeps have that 2dr/4dr conundrum too.

But I keep hanging with Jeep peeps and by the end of the day, my damn Bronco identifies as a Jeep. What's up with that?

Robert was fore-sighted on that! Broncos can't form a community, only Bronco owners can do that. imo

Happy Friday! We are getting weather here in NM. Not me, but others. We actually had thunder and lightning in the evening last night. I40 closed between Albuquerque and Grant's. OnOne Couple drove in for the meeting and they live in Grant's. Maybe before the day is over.
Got an oil change yesterday. Asked them to check air and cabin filters, as usual. They needed replaced. Took my $80 - $90 normal bill to $208. Me thinks it is time for someone to learn how to change these filters on her own. Lol
Tires get rotated and balanced today. Should be free, but I'm not holding my breath. This has been one expensive week so far.
But, I'm so excited to get my new air compressor. And proud that I know how to tighten and loosen the clamps on my steps! Hey, it is the little things, OK!
Hope your Friday goes by quickly and you can get your weekend started. Hug the ones you love!

They're both extremely simple. Plenty of YouTubes out there for that.
You're right: Start with the simple things, like repositioning the steps on your rock rails. Next thing you know, you'll be switching out your suspension with Bilstein 8112 (DSA+)'s.

Good Friday Morning, Kids!
It’s a non-rainy day here in the PNW, though clouds and grey will continue to rule the day. After a drug-induced fog yesterday the chance to finally eat solid food after a one-day Rx-required fast, I finally feel normal again and am ready to get some things done today.

Interesting news this morning from Jeep in that they are discontinuing their PHEV models, and like Ford will focus on full-hybrids and future EREV (electric vehicles with on-board gas generators charging the batteries)… I’ll get the popcorn…

Sitting around a doctor’s office yesterday waiting for an appointment reminded me that our medical care system is a behemoth of an industry, but they are amazingly good here in America at taking care of us. I hope you (if needed) receive the same level and efficient care Sonya and I receive on a regular basis. If not, I hope you can find options that will improve your situation. Yesterday reminded me that we tend to take so much of what we have here in America for granted… Now that my last procedure is done (hopefully for awhile), its time to get the Bronco “re-stepped” and start packing for a month in the sun… looking forward to escaping the gray blanket for a bit, and connecting with Bronco peoples…

Have a great day, all, and do good… Kindness is easy, and causes ripples you will never imagine…

Well-meaning but ignorant people may compliment you on your "Jeep." You can mess with the fluids, "re-engineer" your horse with Jeep parts, heck you can even put a Jeep grill on the front of your truck, but your Bronco's DNA will always be a Bronco.

I always had people call my 93 bronco a blazer. Talk about getting it wrong.
But then that TV show with Oj came on, and everyone knew what a bronco was.
I wonder if after that people called blazers broncos
