Good Friday Morning, Kids!
We are in the grips of a rainy (maybe snowy) pattern here with today’s high warming to a balmy -45°. The problem with these up and down temps and constant dampness is the constant fighting off colds and flu symptoms. Went to town yesterday to run a couple of errands and it is DARK, at 4:00pm!!! Sheesh! I miss my time in the tropics when the length of day was very constant throughout the year.
This is the time of year (grey and dark) that has me looking forward to February in @Lots O Fords neighborhood!
If you’re in the grips of the super cold weather blowing through much of the country, be safe and take your time!

Three weeks till Boxing Day!

Good Thursday Morning, Kids!
Hard to believe, but this week Steve Austin 2.0 celebrated his first birthday, and I can’t say enough about how happy I am with my replacement parts! Learning how to do things like getting up and down from the ground, simply kneeling (a MUCH different feel than Before), and realizing how much ground I have to make up in getting the muscles around my new hinges up to par with the installed hardware… One day at a t time…

Projects in front of me for the winter include my Step Sliders, which I bought just before knee replacements (yes, more than a year ago), my fuel tank armor from RCI, and a hoist ur top, which I wasn’t going to install, but after navigating around the top as it sat in the garage all summer, convinced me that the ceiling would be a MUCH better spot, as I expect to have my top off full-time from about May-Octoberish…. Going to end up with pinch-weld covers and OEM steps for CHEAP (or free) in the Western Washington area if you’re looking…

@SAVEUP and @Darrel said it very well above, this is an amazing group online , and even better when the chance to connect IRL happens! Looking forward to meeting and wheeling with y’all in the new year!

Rainy and Gray for the next seven days, perhaps with a white fleck or two…

Right now in New England we're dealing with what is sometimes called the Canadian Express, but more scientifically, a Polar Vortex. I'd prefer a Polar Convex. Another reason I avoid Canada. That $91 parking ticket in Montreal, which I will never pay, is another one. $60 for the ticket, $31 "service fee." "Service Fee??!!!!!" What next, do they want me to add a gratuity? 👎

I think I have set foot 👣 in Canada 💩 for the last time. To think that I've visited 6 provinces, and hitchhiked in 4 of them.

When I got home from the Army, I had a little more coin in my pocket, and bought my own kit. My dad came home from work one day hearing me playing Led Zeppelin! He played the trumpet and wanted one of us to follow. Sorry, wasn't gonna happen!
