Hope everybody has some weekend shannigans planned! I get to wheel tomorrow. A widow in my club is leading a "Sadie Hawkins" run in October. It is a run to encourage the woman in the club to wheel. This club has done this type of run for a long time. I think it is great!
Cats are still in their harnesses. They still do not like them, but they don't seem as mad.
My next widow challenge is picking up a dead bird. Give me live...anything, I am creeped out by dead birds.

Thunderstorms sparked a number of wildfires in Eastern washington last night so we’re expecting some smoke to head our way today, and clouds have moved in from the North.. cooler today with a high of -25ish…

August has arrived and lots of projects and a couple short trips are planned to keep my mind off not being able to head to Colorado at month’s end… will enjoy living vicariously through those making the trek to Ouray and environs!

Lots of challenges out there, and if you haven’t done so, I wouldn’t bother looking at your stock portfolio this morning…
Keep your chin up, hug freely and often, and dont let the hard days win!

It finally feels like a Friday for me... 60601 has been a tad cooler, which is good because Lolla started yesterday.

On the other hand, there's been air quality alerts due to wildfires from across the northern border. Whatever prediction models or actual sensor readings are being used, some outfit actually said we had the worst air quality in the world yesterday afternoon. 😲 I can only hope that those who endure any type of respiratory issues had the help they needed.

Anywhoo... the pot of FDC Skullcrushing Espresso is still on and has helped me to keep moving. Can't vouch for the quality of the movement especially when today's allocated brain cells were used up, 😂 😂 but am still moving. Feel free to grab a refill if you need that extra jolt to get you through to the end of the day. I just hope my feet don't twitch too hard off the brake pedal... 😱 😅

Here's hoping everyone has a good weekend ahead, despite... Still rooting and praying for those needing or wanting it. Always feel free to reach out anytime... In my short time here, while I've realized we do have the weirdest sense of humor, stepping up has also not been a question. Keep taking care of each other and yourself.

Yeah, "woods" are not something I can just throw it into. Unfortunately, that would be an hour drive.
I don't want to put it in the Bronco to do that.
The 1st time I had the top down on my Wrangler, I took it for a little drive in the country. A bird hit my windshield. I saw it coming and ducked. I heard it hit, but didn't see where it landed. A week later I was cleaning out the inside of it and found that damn bird under the passenger seat. I jumped back 50' and my scream gathered all the neighbors. Lol

Good morning! Happy Saturday! I get to go on a prerun today! I haven't done this in a long time. I've always thought the preruns were more fun. Less people? Sometimes hard work and playing with chainsaws? idk
That dead bird is still there. Why hasn't a coyote got it yet?
