I broke down and called my ex-neighbor yesterday. My disposal quit on me. I've spent the last week looking at tools and parts that I have no idea what they are, and figuring out what they are and finding what they cost new today. But, just didn't have it in me for this. I hate imposing!
It will be really hot out for a lot of you. Tomas is right, check on your neighbors and loved ones. Prayers to those with challenges. Hug the ones you love.

Good Wednesday Morning, Kids…
Going to be a beautiful day here in 98251, with temps just touching -20° and sunshine abounding… Thinking of those who are suffering through weird and wild weather, especially those under the heat dome in the middle of the country.

Got an oil change and tire rotation for the F150 yesterday using dealer’s mobile service… really nice service if it’s available to you, especially for recall items not requiring a full shop. They won‘t rotate my Bronco tires in my driveway, but they would do everything else.

Coffee is ready this morning, thinking it must be Colombian Supremo, and missed out on Huevos Racheros yesterday so thinking today might be a Taco Tuesday plus one…

Thinking of those dealing with sickness, grief, heat, broken rigs, wayward kids, and anything else that might be challenging you… Bought a couple hats supporting Smokey Bear and our National Parks, as they are struggling under cuts coupled with growing tourism pressure. Of course the hats are coming from China, so will be interesting to see how long they take to arrive…

We are now in the UP and we had enough time to set up and get settled in before all of this rain started hitting us, supposed to rain all night.
We are just West of The Soo Locks at a place called Bay Mills Casino and Campground, all is well here except for all of this liquid falling from the sky.
It was a -14 earlier before the rain and now we are looking at -35, it has cooled down considerably.
This was from last night’s concert, this was BTO long time member, Randy Bachman and Scott Turner.

My ex-neighbor fixed my disposal yesterday and taught be how to "unbind" and "reset" it. I guess I need to run it more often than every 3 months. Much like I've been encouraged to start up the CJ and drive it from time to time.
my ex-neighbor got divorced in 2019 and spiraled in the wrong direction at the start of the pandemic. He said that he put a list on his mirror as he was trying to straighten himself out. #1 was less social media. I need to learn this. Different reasons, but still good.
I have things I have planned to do and need to do for many reasons. Can't do them with my phone in my hand.
