Looking like a good weekend to stay home as it seems all major highways in the state are going to be closed or severely limited for construction projects… Sheesh!

Weather is cooling today and will top out somewhere in the -25° range… Sun will still be out so it should be a great day to puts outside… Colombian Supremo coffee is brewing and filling the house with great smells… Thinking a donut run sounds pretty good, with a couple of Texas-sized bear claws…

Thinking of all facing challenges and projects that are tough… Do’ forget to check-in on people, and offer support and encouragement where you can… I have to agree with @Lots O Fords , @Roughstock11 , concerning four wheels vs two… hated giving my motorcycle up a few years ago, but my body thanks me almost daily… Hope you heal quickly and completely…

Good morning all! It is finally Friday. When you're unemployed, the joy of this day is diminished, fyi.
I made a pot of coffee this morning. Test run fir tomorrow. People are coming over to help me fill in blanks of what I have in the shop. I bought some Great Value brand breakfast blend. It isn't bad, but a little weak. And it is a long wait for that 1st cup.
I talked to a friend yesterday and he knows a guy that runs on-line auctions. This may be an option to having strangers coming out to look at stuff. I can't just throw this stuff in the Bronco and meet people in a parking lot so they can see it.
Hoping everyone has a great day! Those with challenges are being thought of today. Hug the ones you love!

I thought I would have to work Saturday but I ended getting the last part done that they needed…….
So NO Saturday!!!
I’m heading up North where the wind is free and the air smells like wildfires, it’ll be just like hanging around a campfire, only all day….🤣

Donna and I are heading up North for a couple of weeks tomorrow.
The first 5 days I should have cell service, but after that it will be scarce as we will be in the UP off of Lake Superior.
We are doing a lot of sight seeing and Yooperlite searching!!!

We are staying at Canada Creek Ranch for only a day or two, then we’ll take our little trailer and head over to the West side of the State to a town called Empire where a campground we have always gone to called Indigo Bluffs is waiting for us.
We are going to visit a lot of towns on the West side, Obviously Empire, Frankfort, Sutton Bay, Glen Haven to see Sleeping Bear Dunes Scenic Drive, Glenn Arbor, and finally Leeland, then end it on Wednesday with a Marshal Tucker Band and BTO concert.
The following day we head up North to the UP.
Like I always say the cell service will be limited.
Plan on doing a lot up there too, Soo Locks, Bay Mills Casino, Paradise to see Tahquamneon Falls, maybe even The Great Lakes Shipwreck in Whitefish Point, and to top it off……Pictured Rock.
Then that’s when we will go along the lake to do Yooperlite searching……
I will do my best to keep up with all the Shenanigans that goes on around here.

So 2 old friends stopped by today. Both are Jeep guys. One put a 5.0 in his CJ5 Renegade, don't know the year. He wanted to see the 5.0 that I am selling. I figured out that the AFR heads that are still in the box were bought for this engine. He just called to say he wants to buy all of it. He thinks it is a smoking deal. And I knew it was, but I also don't see the value of holding onto it for a few hundred more. I could have it for years to come if I did it that way. The other friend is trying to get a hold of a friend that is an IH enthusiast. Apparently IH used AMC motors. I never knew that, along with a whole lot of other things.
We were talking about old times. My little brain cells went into overdrive. I am onto some plans for shaninigans in Ouray
Once I sell the engines and they are picked up, I can sell the engine stand, the engine hoist and a stand on wheels.
I promised Jeff I would figure it out and he didn't let me down. Some days I am so disappointed in myself that I may not be able to figure it out. But, then sometimes I feel I can. Those heads were throwing me. But, I was able to figure out they were for a Ford engine and what they cost new. So I will figure it out. It won't be easy and won't be on day one, but I didn't promise that.
I will post a link on the on-line auction. Leaning toward this more and more.

I would imagine the online auction could work out better than an estate sale. Especially this kind of stuff.
In the past, that's what I used. Stopped me from going awwww every time I picked something up. My neighbor was helping me set up something in the garage. When Louise came in he said, if Scott dies I want to be the first one to the garage sale.

Howdy from sunny Arizona. I'm a little behind, I just started BN and I'm on cup 3.
Cup 2 was for checking pool chemicals. It's only -15 (at 6am) with 27% humidity. They posted it feels like 85. So once the ol sun gets up some, it'll warm up.

I'm gonna hop in the bronco and do some errands. It's so much fun to drive.
