I had met some people for dinner last night. 2 of the guys did Shaffer trail yesterday. One made it look like he was falling off a cliff and sent a pic to his Mom. I asked if that was the Thwlma & Louise cliif,, they were shocked I knew.
Then stopped to buy more water on the way back to the hotel. I then get a test from Jason @Mal asking if he just saw me on Main St. He and his family are here for a few days. So, officially, there was a BN meet-up.
I think the plan is floating down the Colorado today.

Go to the Nascar Race! The only one I went to had about a 5 hour rain delay. We held out for 4 hours. Lol. But it would be something to see in person at least once!

I’m getting jealous of @Darrel being out there in Moab, I should have went with the group that went a few Months ago…I’m sure everybody had a safe and good 4th of July!
If you have kids no matter how old they are, make sure to give them a big hug….It goes a long way!!!
Same here @UserError praying for all of those kids that are missing from that campground, they say the river rose like 26 feet in just 45 minutes.

Up to 12 inches of rain has already fallen in Kerr County, about 60 miles north of San Antonio, with the rain ongoing through the evening.
The Guadalupe River in Kerr County rose a whopping 26 feet in 45 minutes, Patrick said. The river reached its second-highest height on record, surpassing a 1987 flood level, the National Weather Service said.

I did get to kyak the Colorado with my SIL. BIL dropped us 3 miles up the road and it took about an hour. It was beautiful! And I have no pictures, but it really happened.
Heading home today. Miss my kitties.

The Garmin GLO 2 arrived yesterday so will be able to use the iPad on trails. T’was a much cheaper option than getting a new tablet with cellular service. 🤷‍♂️

Howdy from sunny Arizona. Another day at the pool with puppies (70 & 75lb puppies).

Unfortunately we start redoing the pool deck tomorrow so no pool for 4 days. The dogs will not like that and Louise made it clear she's not happy about it either.

It's the last of the contractors in our yard / outside project that's been going on for 7 months.

And being a glutton for punishment, tomorrow I start a outside renovation on the business property.

I got a refurb cell iPad mini. It will track without having cell service plan. It’s all about the gps chip. I didn’t know that until I did a bit of researching. Just throwing it out there
