The BS has started. They will not send me further information till I sign the separation agreement. My MT labor attorney says...don't sign it. So now I wait to here from them. This crap is not helping me focus on healing I tell you. I have a feeling this is going to be a really long day.

Drink coffee for me and send positive juju so I don't do something stupid and end up on a milk carton or wanted poster! This is so much bullshit I don't even know where to begin.

Instead of targeting the citizens that are trying to get to work or doing the right thing, we should be going after the jackasses that are riding the atv's, scooters, and mini-bikes, creating havoc all over Boston. Sorry, not a big Chapter 90 guy. Enforce it when it is needed or noticed. I don't like quotas or "performance goals."

The guy who cut you off? He was going to work.
The woman who swerved into your lane for the turn? She was on her way to her medical appointment.
That character who ran the red light just as you were entering the intersection on your green? Wanted to get home before the ice cream melted.
All of them, ordinary hard-working, tax-paying otherwise responsible citizens who wouldn't think of shoplifting a steak but do run riot in the streets because the chance of getting a ticket are very, very low. The sight of blue lights, if seen (or better, experienced!) often enough might -- might -- get them to mend their ways.

One thing needed is that cops on the street need to know that command will have their backs when the complaints inevitably increase. Not likely to happen in Boston, though.

Good Morning, Kids!
It’s the start of a 10 day stretch without rain here in the PNW. Temps will run from -25 to -15, so it should be lovely! Sprinkler system (think Rube Goldberg) is set up and running, so hopefully the lawn will manage…

Had to take Sonya to emergency room yesterday as we had slept much at all since our flight home last Tuesday. Probably picked up a viral infection (thankfully not pneumonia) but not much to do but treat symptoms and let it run its course… I’ve recovered a little faster but still not feeling great… might run to urgent care center today, will see. Sonya still sleeping as I type this, so that’s good news!

Hopefully the top comes off OB-1 today and hoping I can keep it off for the summer!

I just love my teammate! She really reinforced that my decision to quit was a good one.

But I am unemployed by someone else's hand than mine which means early retirement just became 17 months early. Now to navigate the fun stuff...waiting for words of wisdom from my lawyer and the labor board.
