Monsoon rain today. Started about 1:30. Temp at 5:30pm was -40. Wow!

Today I got the coffee brewing I hope you all like it. Since I left Montana in sort of a rush without my favorite pocket pew pew and no chance of getting home to pick it up I am going to go to the pew pew store today. I have seen a couple of decent sale prices the last couple days so I must investigate this in person.

Good morning from cloudy and cool Gold Bar! After some much needed sleep following a long day AND nine hour flight, we are home from our Epic trip to Japan… so many memories made and learned so much in our 27 days there!

Kirkland Colombian Supreme is brewing this morning, and likely won’t be doing much today as we recoup from a long and fun-filled month! Both Sonya and I caught some kind of a cold traveling and it’s proving tough to knock down…

Thursday Morning at 0530 PDT as my sleep patterns are still screwed up from travel…
Kirkland Colombian Supreme is brewing for those up and running, and I am making a donut run so let me know what you’d like… Definitely will have maple bars and bear claws…

A couple of days of cool weather are welcome after a month in the heat and humidity that is Tokyo weather, and by this weekend the weather turns summery again and temps will reach all the way to -20°… not quite pool weather yet, so might have to drive over to @Lots of Fords and take advantage of his, as I’m guessing its warmer at his house…

Catching up with folks after being sort of absent for a month, and excited to reconnect with those making the trip to Colorado over Labor Day!

Her’s a fun fact… Tokyo metro area has about 37 million people living and working there… Japan as a country has a vending machine for every 40 people… translation, vending machines in Japan are more plentiful than Starbucks stores in Seattle…

Happy Thirsty Thursday! Yeah, I got Pacific Bold pods out.
I had a medical screening on Tuesday, made up the time I was gone yesterday. I worked 11 1/2 hours yesterday. Uggghhh and have to be back at it in 40 minutes.

Yesterday I was messing with my new excavator at the dealer. I commented to the guy. The AC works pretty good, maybe I don't have to tint the windows.
He says, it does work good but it's not hot today. I agreed it was cool.
We both paused, then he said, how weird is it that we think 101 is cool?
