I don’t throw away most out of date items, my son does.
He throws it out the next day, then he buys more.
“BroncOitis” keeps most out of date items/food until it smells bad, looks bad, grows hair on it, or walks away from the dinner table, and so on. “Well Maybe not to those extremes, but you get the picture.” 😳

EDITED: The last part about “walks away from the dinner table,” might actually be the way I like my steaks…..🤔

Donna bought the Starbucks coffee, I never complain because I don’t want to hear “then you can do the grocery shopping,” so I enjoy what she buys.
I don’t even want to cross that path where I might have to start doing the grocery shopping!!! 😉
I shop for things/items that have an engine, run on batteries, supplies something cold/hot, has parts I can take apart and fix, or just simply something to relax with……🤣
The post I tried sending before was 4 times as long, so I’m hoping at least this one goes through!!!

I also said if you are still eating breakfast or drinking coffee, then I apologize for talking about bad food so early in the morning…..🤣🤣🤣

My wife was going through the cabinets tonight. It's trash night, so she was going nuts. She just bought a loaf of wheat bread and saw that we already had a loaf. She said that the best before date is 05-22-25. I said that it's fine. It probably has another week or two.😂

I'm planning on taking a ride up to what I think is the better Cape of Massachusetts, Cape Anne, Gloucester. The locals don't have brooms stuck up their butts like on Cape Cod. I take a trip or two on the bike every Summer. I go back roads, Rtes. 62, 133, and avoid the lunatics on 128. I Always check out the Sailor's Monument. It's very impressive. I took this photo last year. This was the crew that was portrayed in the movie, "The Perfect Storm". It all depends on the weather when I go. Let me know if anyone wants to meet up.

I usually also go buy the Gorton's Fisherman plant, Stage Fort Park, and Rockport. It's just a nice ride on the bike!

When we had our house built we decided do delete the 1/2 bath and make an exceptionally large pantry and coat closet, that might have been a mistake because we can’t see everything in there and it is usually so full that I’m sure there is some food products that are a couple years old.
However, I do keep the coffee out of there, which keeps the expiration date to a minimum……
Never mind…..scratch that……

I forgot she just bought several pounds of it, and there is no way we can drink that much, some will go beyond the date….
Never fear though, I will only serve the in date stuff here! 😉

Good Thursday morning from Osaka once again! The days have been filled with excursions involving lots of people, lots of trains, and lots of STEPS for SA 1.0 & 2.0 to navigate… last four days we’ve been putting in about 14-16k steps daily… Down day today to recover a bit… Spent yesterday in Kobe at a mountain-top herb garden with 75000 different herbs growing… amazing place… and of course we had Kobe beef in Kobe for an early dinner…

Expiration dates? Try not having a clue what the label says… Thank God for Google translate!!
