Sorry just saw this. Yes I have the KO3 they are load range F so they would probably be better on my F250 than Bronco but they should be indestructible, they are stiff if you fill them to 39 psi it will rattle your fillings loose. Drop then down to 36 and they are very comfortable. We only had about 1200 miles on the tires when we got to Utah so they were not rounded off yet so they slipped more than I was expecting on obstacles also probably didn’t air down enough 20 psi is still too high probably need to be around 15. and the few trips into the snow on one section of deep snow they were a little squirrely, but again could be because they were so new. Also I think they are a Tad larger than stock. Other than that They are awesome

Edit: Also if you think the Goodyears are rock throwers, these things throw rocks like crazy. the good years after a few thousand miles were not that bad, so maybe these will calm down after a few miles.

This is GREAT information! Thank you!

I thought I heard or read somewhere, where the K02s were going to go to the waist side, basically be discontinued.
I hope I’m wrong because I know there are still a lot of us who would like to get K02s if possible.
I don’t know, maybe and hopefully I’m wrong!!!

Thanks for the feedback. I remember they still seemed pretty stiff at 20 PSI when you were in MOAB. I guess the Load Range F is to make the sidewalls more durable, but I wish they were a bit less. I also forgot about the weight as @Darrel mentioned. I just checked and they are 20 lbs heavier than the KO2s I currently have. I may have to do some more research and consider staying with the KO2s

I have never owned BFGs before (I always have to be different and everyone around here even passenger cars have BFG KO2s) But I needed tires before the trip and the only thing the Discount had in my size was a set of OEMs and the KO3, the Goodyears were actually another customers set but were not going to have them installed for a few days and he could reorder them before they needed them. but I didn't feel good about doing that plus he was giving me a smoking deal on the KO3s at just $20.00 more a tire but I had to buy 5 and not just 4, so I figured the Bronco gods must want me to try the KO3s. We Didn't even discuss load range and I didn't think about it till @SAVEUP mentioned it to me on TOTW trail. Made a lot of since why my wife was complaining about the ride quality all the way to Albuquerque were I let about 8 PSI out. Anywho the new KO3s are supposed to have a better tread pattern for noise and traction. I can tell you we were cruising top off and a Hyundai passed us and I could hear their tires over ours. also BFG is going to release other load ranges in the next few months so you might wait until they have a load range D and see what the weight of those are.

45 Degrees in Beantown, and a dank and wet 45 degrees it is. @Wolf can probably see his breath up on the North Shore. Where's this "global warming" AL-gore promised us? I thought I'd be fishing off my back porch by now.

I came across the last 3-pound bag of New England (Brand) butter pecan coffee at BJs, a warehouse store "back East," as you westerners put it, for $15.99, so I grabbed it. That's what I'm imbibing now. That's $5.33/lb! In the supermarket yesterday, I saw Starbucks "on sale" at $10.00/lb. If you want to frighten yourself, look at the orange "per pound" price for those K-pods of coffee. You're paying over $1.00 per serving. On sale, Eight O'clock @ $.55 each K-pod, divided by .022/pound of coffee in each K-pod, comes out to $25/lb. And that's on sale!

Big news! I just finished my two-hour, 113-page screenplay-pilot for a TV series, "Fire On the Mountain," an Old Testament sword-and-sandal epic which tells, for the first time for serious cinematic production, the extraordinary Ahab/Jezebel/Elijah narrative. Ahab and Jezebel are tragic characters: think of it as "Breaking Bad In Ancient Israel." My gimmick is to make them young, not middle-aged stalwarts. Ahab is 28, a young king with an insecure dynasty. Jezebel is 18, very beautiful but very ambitious. Elijah hasn't been introduced yet, but I'll probably make him 16, a desert outcast, who's as frightened by his prophetic voice as he is of the ruthless Jezebel.

Now to let it marinate for a few weeks, get started on one-hour episodes, and work my rewrites etc. Then to shop it around possible agents or studios. I'd love to get it into the hands of Dallas Jenkins, producer/writer of "The Chosen," which covers the Jesus narrative.

Anybody interested in reading it, shoot me a PM with your email. Something the Bible doesn't cover but I do: a love relationship between Ahab and Jezebel.

I hear ya, Randy. I woke up yesterday and started getting ready for work. I heard the rain pounding on the skylights in the bathroom. I then looked at my phone and noticed that it was 45 degrees out. I was just disgusted. May 22nd, cold and raining. Friggin' Nor'easter! I called in sick. I just didn't want to deal with the commute with a bunch of morons that feel that they have to leave for work earlier and screw up the commute.

Everyone enjoy the Memorial Day weekend. Please remember that the holiday is more than just cookouts and drinking. Please remember those who have worn the uniform of the U.S. Military, and have made the ultimate sacrifice. I was on my way home from work today and going through Main Street in Georgetown, MA. stuck at a light, and they had the Downtown area decorated with flags and banners on the light poles. The banners were from the fallen military personnel from the town during the wars. One of them was born in 1984. That was the year that I graduated high school, shortly before I enlisted. I couldn't really tell the year that he was killed in action. It was either 2001 or 2004. Either way, he was too young. I can't imagine what his family went through and is still going through.

Good Saturday Morning! Pacific Bold pods are out. Thanks for the toons @Sven .
Yesterday was rough. My boss felt a need to have a talk with me. Started it of by saying "I don't know what is going on at home with you", then a lot of people complaining, then he this and he that. Never said what the complaint was about. And why "they" then "he"?. Almost turned in my resignation. I didn't, good decisions aren't born from anger. But it has me rethinking things. In insurance, they can no longer easily replace you. But there may be more opportunities out there and I will explore before I resign.
Going to a baseball game tonight. High is almost -10° and at 9pm it will be -25°. Perfect weather. And it a specialty night. Banana Ball? Don't know what that means, but I'll be finding out.
I am remembering those that gave all for our freedom. It is more than a 3 day weekend!

I wouldn’t say Happy Memorial Day, but I’ll say have a memorable Memorial Day weekend, and reflect or think about all that was lost for a small portion of your day today or into the Monday Holiday.
If my arm could reach over to all of you that have struggled in one way or another this past and present year, I would give you all a big hug, so you’ll just have to settle with a cyber hug. 🤗
With the words from Steve, this brings up one of my favorite songs from one of the greatest oldies bands that I loved listening to.

You hang in there Lauri, sometimes biting your tongue is as difficult as trying not to jump ship after a conversation like that.
Keeping your options open for a different place of employment after an conversation like that with your boss, and that is to not throw in your resignation right then, but wait until you have all of your ducks in a row, and go out on your own terms…..and that is always the best thing to do.
Or…..
To find the best options to stay where you’re at, and to work through and talk to your boss again and leave the office in better terms then the way they were left when you last left the conversation, if you really like where you are at now.
Hoping and praying that everything turns out the way you want it @Darrel .

Hang in there Girl!!!

Good Saturday Morning, Kids!
Its going to be a beautiful day here on the Westside of Washington, with temps ranging all the way to -30° and sunshine abounding! Gas prices in Western Washington must be the highest in the country, with Chevron advertising regular grade at 4.59 this weekend… which mean 93 octane is over $5.00 a gallon… The downside of no state income tax…

Thinking of my USAF son and family this morning… I realize the weekend is about those who have lost their lives in service, but we should never forget current troops and their families… My son and family are currently living in a trailer in an on-base campground while they spend a month “between homes” as they will be PCS’ing to Northern Utah next month… Lots of stress for all, and I’m so impressed with my DiL managing these moves every 3-4 years for the last 25… hopefully this may be the last one involving the USAF, but we’ll see…

Enjoy your weekend, hopefully with friends, family, or even strangers!
Let Grace abound!

edit… second time writing this post this morning…. The first one got lost in the ether, and by the time I posted this one the first decided to show up… lol

The military moves proved to be a bit too much for my DIL, so my son is finishing up his USMC contract with his last drill this summer. He's now full-time civilian with the USAF here in Mass. Says he really likes his job. His career achievement: handling an unfilled O-4 logistics brigade slot (a USMC "MEF," about 2500 personnel) as an O-2, he took them from a readiness score of 67 to the high 90s.

"He Ain't Heavy, He's M'Brother" isn't exactly Memorial Day fare, but my favorite Hollies song. Just love that haunting harmonica. For those who don't know, it's the slogan of Boys Town.

Happy Memorial Day, Libations Crew! 🇺‍🇸 I trust you are all reflecting on the sacrifice many have made and those affected by their contribution to our lives. As part of my daily gratitude meditation, I think of how fortunate I am to have made your acquaintance in one way or another. I don't have much to say, but you're often in my thoughts and I hope you feel grateful for the things and people who bring you joy.

Now back to tinkering on my beast. Lebowski has been getting a few enhancements... 😎
