It is Thirsty Thursday! Good morning! If you're thirsty for coffee, I put out pods. In a few months they will be gone. I may switch to making pots of coffee as it will be fresh. No one else here to get it started 3 or 4 hours before I get up.
Old paint can project finally got started yesterday. 2 5 gallon containers and 2 cans before I ran out of litter. 2 5 gallon containers to go.
Welp, time to go get ready to go to work. Hope no one gets hurt today. Kidding!
Wishing @Sven a good day and a party date gets set. Safe travels to @ResidualGenius and getting everything in MI. Thoughts and prayers for anyone else with challenges.

Good Thirsty Thursday, Kids!
Looks like today will be the last fully sunny day here on the left coast until maybe May 1. We shall see.
I honor of the good weather I got the top off of OB-1 yesterday, using my lift and go system for the first time… Pretty fun, though still kind of cool zipping down the road!

Heading across state to check on a couple of sons and a couple of grands for the weekend… Hoping Eastern washington stays sunny as Western Washington clouds over… Washington is definitely the land of two very different climate zones… The east tends to be rural, dry, sunny, and is becoming prime wine country. The west is plush, wet, and full of… PEOPLE!

Thinking since the top is off I will bit my Bimini top on finally, as its been waiting since before my knee surgeries… back to you tube to refresh my memory in terms of install…

Trying some local coffee today, from Stumptown… most of their coffee has flavors blended in, be it chocolate or hazelnuts, or even caramel, so I’m not sure how much I’ll enjoy it… I’m a black dark coffee drinker, and generally not a fan of fufu coffee blends… Wish me luck!

Found a lost soul today wandering around the Smokey Mountains….. lil fella reminded me so much of Lerrad, @BroncOitis ,I had to stop and get him. His name is Leon and he said he thinks he has a brother that was kidnapped and taken out west but hasn’t seen or heard from him yet in some time. I told him I knew of such an animal and could possibly help. He said thanks and begged to stay with me. So of course I obliged!

So last week my magnifying mirror fell and broke. As if I haven't seen my fair share of bad luck, I get 7 more years.

This is a PSA for the guys. Please have the patience to teach your significant other basic carpentry skills. They might need them.

I will have to go looking for you-tube videos to hang my new mirror. Find rawl plugs that weren't included and learn how to use the power drill (once I find it). Someone will get cussed out when I start this project.

You want cover? Put the roof on!
The bimini strikes me as a bit of both. But enjoy!

Regarding weather: You have two types? Come to Boston, we have all sorts of weather. And if you don't like it, wait fifteen or twenty minutes.

I share your thoughts about flavored coffee. I keep a few syrups for those occasions I want to "adjust" it. I've posted this before, but my suspicion is that roaster-flavored coffee is, or was developed to, mask the flavor of poor-quality coffee beans:
"Hey, that shipment just arrived. We got rooked--it's really crummy beans."
"Okay, flavor the stuff and raise the price to 'gourmet' level."

I think the same thing applies to flavored liquors, such as "Captain Morgan's Spiced Rum." Cheap rum enjoyed by college freshman girls everywhere. When I was a drinking man--er, adolescent--I only drank "for effect."

But the top looks sharp!

Well, I’ve never had a Bimini before, but having done a highway run yesterday without it, and today with it, I really am glad to have it… still lots of air flow and much less noise at highway speed than with no top… Mostly, though, its a health issue as I dont always want to wear a hat when driving, and my precious bald head doesn’t need any more sun than it already gets… interesting as I filled up the rig right after installing the bimini, and it “seems” to be getting better mileage at highway speed, with front windows closed and second row windows open… maybe cutting the “Brick” in half in terms of airflow will make a difference…

When to sleep or not to sleep is not the question......but will there be coffee during the in between times? Pike Place pods is all we have here so things are good. Help yourself!

Another step forward here yesterday as the local center is finally working with the Mayo clinic so we can get this show on the road.
