We are headed to 89 today, but it is going to be breezy. Do I do yard work, go for a walk or do some grocery shopping? Maybe just sit here.
May go on the monthly cruises that our club does through the summer. They are driving to Fat Sats for dinner. With "Fats" in the name, it has to be good. No?

I got to see that snow stuff in Moab. It's not that bad when you only have it for a day and then it's only in pictures.

I'm back in Seattle, fresh from my birthday romp in beautiful Dublin, Ireland. I tried my hand at making Irish Coffee this morning. Got some Teeling Irish Whiskey from Total Wine yesterday. This stuff is TASTY. Sláinte, Libations Crew! 😁

A little whiskey, a lot of coffee, some whipped cream, brown sugar, and a sprinkle of nutmeg is all you need... 👍

Hey everyone. My mom passed last night at 10:12PM EDT. She suffered for the last two weeks and declined quickly. The last few days totally sedated. She has moved on to eternal life with Him. Hard to watch, but glad she knew I was with her in the end. Hug the ones you love!

Hey buddy, it's easy for me to say things like "I've been there" and so on, but the truth is everyone's experience is unique and no one knows how they will respond to the inevitable outcome that awaits us all. All I can say is that I have an idea of what you're going through and that in time, your loss will ease. Take comfort that your mom's memory will last way beyond her departure from this Earth. I have lost both my parents within three years of the other and it's still hard. But, I feel they never really left me every time I look at myself in the mirror; I can see them, manifested in me. They were both very dear people with cutting wit and killer senses of humor. Remembering them sustains me and makes it easier for me to let them go. Although gone for good, our parents never truly leave us; without them, we would not exist, so it's safe to say that they are very much alive... in you! Virtual hugs to you and yours in this time of sorrow.

Words are never enough at this moment. Remember her as she was when she was smiling, happy and healthy, as that is how she gets to meet St. Peter at the gate!

It sucks when they hurt, but I’m glad her time in pain was relatively brief!

Not a day goes by that I don't think about my mother's passing, and that was September of 2007. Be strong Debo. We have all been there or will be there, and it sucks!
