Good morning all! I didn't over sleep again this morning! I got up at 6 and sat on the couch and fell asleep for another 2 1/2 hours. Me thinks stress is very sneaky!
We went out for Chinese buffet for valentines after our daily visit to the cancer center. It was good!
Thanks for the coffee, toons and BISCUITS & GRAVY!
It is grocery getting day in the Rector household. Jeff may go with me.
I do have a 4 day weekend. But we have a really big week next week. 1st chemo and our youngest son may come and visit too.

Boston: 3-4 inches of snow, church cancelled plows and salters have been by house 5 or 6 times. Talk about overkill! So I'm in bed with the laptop, nursing my first coffee, working up the motivation to go shovel the sidewalk. I'll spend the day reading and working on my the synopsis for my screenplay, due in two weeks. For you who are familiar with the Old Testament, it's a dramatic treatment of the Ahab/Jezebel/Elijah narrative. Think: "Breaking Bad in Ancient Israel."

She lives in a swamp?

She lives on 47 acres in SE Indiana. She bought the land and it had a little cabin on it. She fixed up the cabin to live in, and sold her house. Then engineered a driveway to where she wanted to build the house. There were 2 large ravines that had to have "bridges". Then she designed the house and had it built. Her husband was just along for the ride.
We were down at the creek which is maybe 50' away from her back porch.

Her husband is a hunter. He bought a fake deer for something. He noticed it was always laid over every morning. So he set up a camera one night. A real deer came up to the fake deer and started sniffing it, then moved on. Came back a few seconds later and sniffed the back end. Then mounted the fake deer and had at it, until the fake deer fell over. Funniest video ever!
