You need a Holley EFI. It's a simple 4 wire hookup. Took Jeff about 2 weeks and a ton of cussing!

You need a Holley EFI. It's a simple 4 wire hookup. Took Jeff about 2 weeks and a ton of cussing!

I hear they work well but was hearing from folks that the TB mounted ecu died from heat stroke in the old Broncos.
I went all in with an Edelbrock pro-flo 4.....This is a badass setup and works sweet. I cheaped out on the in tank pump at first but their quick fuel pump/sump will not live in the heat under the hood of old Earl.

Happy Thirsty Thursday. Another brrr day here with a dusting of snow and maybe some more today. Hard to go 3 months at 10 or more above average to 10 below average.
Jeff's had a knit hat on all day the last 2 days.
But, our internet came back on Tuesday night. Jeff called someone about the furnace in his shop because he couldn't get it to fire up. Well the repair guy had no problem, and he didn't charge him.
Only 4 more sleeps until our oldest son gets here.
Have a good day all! Hug the ones you love!
This was me yesterday. Full moon coming soon and all the crazies fill a need to call me with questions and then argue with me that I'm wrong. Look, I wasn't the one with a question df. Lol

Same here!!!
Perfect example, on my way home today I wanted to listen to (pandora) on my phone through the Bronco, everything was ok until I shut the Bronco off and got back in to listen to it…
I could not get any music to play unless I switched to regular ole radio, no matter what I did (other than shut the Bronco off again) it would not work at all, all the way home……😠

I would agree sometimes the technology is more hassle than its worth… On board navigation is an example of a technology that is starting to disappear from cars as manufacturers realize people prefer to use their phone’s navigation apps.

In this day and age with so many computers installed in cars to run many systems behind the scenes without the driver’s knowledge or input, its hard to imagine a “stripped down” Bronco could be built, BUT it would certainly be a fun project for people who really want to build a car to make it their own…. It’s a little bit like those who buy and restore or rebuild a first generation bronco…. Starts out about as basic as can be, but as a blank canvas it can go in so many directions…
