Good morning all! Thanks for the coffee and toons! And the funny memes! Good way to start Saturday!
Jeff ordered me a portable air compressor for the Bronco. I may need to try it out. I now have 2 tires with slow leaks.
I have gotten 2 new hips and Jeff has a new lens in an eyeball for this Moab trip. Now to focus on getting Darryl (or Plain Jane or Plain Darrel) ready. May need to get new shoes for my little beastie girl. Her feet are on the bigger side. Lol
Have a great day all!
My setup is a little different than everyone elseâs, I still use the 4 air adapters in all 4 tires with the hoses running to all the tiresâŠâŠbut, I use a 4,000 watt power inverter where I have a connection to the Bronco with an on/off switch.
Then I hook up my 2 Gallon air compressor to that and pump all the tires up.
The reason I use a power inverter is because I take with me some power tools and a Chainsaw when we do Trail rides in Michigan, I use an electric chainsaw because then I donât need to bring more gas with me and extra oil, 2 cycle oil along the trip, and less of a messâŠ..
Obviously I wonât be bringing my chainsaw with me to MoabâŠâŠđ
Battery powered tools just never been my thing.
The power supply on the Bronco is almost useless unless your running a LED light or something, however it did run my very small (hand held/1 tire at a time) 120volt compressor, which was kind of impressive!!!
I have a feeling that I wonât have much room to bring a lot of my power tools because weâll be loaded up with cooler and clothes and stuffâŠ.
Weâll see!!!
