MOLDED IN COLOR - I thought I ordered white with a black roof

MIC means the color is part of the resin, it's not painted. All MIC tops are dark gray.

What does Molded in Color mean ? Sounds like its a color match to the vehicle ? Hope not. Hope its Black like my picture of my build.

Originally the Bronco was offered with a couple different top options. The one you are thinking about is the "MOD" top (modular) that came in Gloss Black, or could be optioned as body color. MOD tops were delayed until at least 2022 and the MIC (Molded In Color) became the only Hard Top Option. The MIC, is a textured plastic very similar in color and feel as to what the Fender Flairs and such are made out of. And of course, now the MIC tops are the ones in question.

IF you truly want a Black Top (aka MOD top) then you need to have your order Priority changed to 99 and wait until the 2022 Specs\Options are released before you can determine if MOD tops are even going to make it for 2022. If somehow you end up with a 2021 Hard Top, it will not be the black MOD, but the dark gray-ish MIC.

No, MOD until 23MY per Ford

MIC seems to be an industrial process term. But the nice thing is you can get it in any color, as long as it's gray.

This is my Antimatter blue with a MIC top. It is a smoother finish and a little more gray then the bumper covers. I think it will look great with yours!
