Welcome to the Bronco Nation. Glad to have you here. There are many helpful folks on this forum.

I will lend my understanding to get things started. I have not heard that they leather will be treated to be weatherproof. That is one of the reasons Ford is touting the MGV on Badlands and Black Diamond.

If you have not been able to feel the difference in person they are both really good. I am excited to have the MGV on my Badlands. I had the opportunity to touch it at the SuperCel East event. It looks to be a comfortable and durable option. Also helps you save some money and piece of mind as well.

Two things that are a bit of a challenge. 1. With MGV you do not get the fold down armrest with the cup holders in the back seat on the 4 door. 2. The seat backs on the rear seats is carpeted regardless of the trim for 2021.

I guess my kids will just have to hold onto their drinks in the back. If they spill, I will just hose it out! For the rear seat backs (carpeted portion), I plan to apply waterproofing to them when I get it. However, with a 7/23 reservation I have a high likelihood of getting a 2022. They may have the seat back issue fixed by then. Hope that helps.

I am surprised about not having cup holders for the rear seats for the MGV. I do not remember this being in the Build Tool. Did I miss it?
I am also buying Badlands with MGV along with the Lux Package. I thought I remember that the Lux package provides 6 cupholders...but not sure where they were to be located. This may change my PO if no cup holders are provided in the back seat

It was a hot and heavy topic in December. Here is a link to that thread: https://community.thebronconation.c...lder-controversy-confirmation.2529/post-29591

Marine Grade Vinyl ALL THE WAY!! Can not wait to have the convenience of just spraying everything down and having those drain plugs for easy clean up.

I wouldn’t stress to much about the carpet on the back of the rear seats. I wash out the carpet on my daily driver several times a year. No drain plugs either I just have to use the ole shopvac and crack a window for a few hours. But I do live in Texas and it gets pretty warm here so it doesn’t take long to dry.
