Hey everyone! I am new to this forum. I have never been a part of a forum so this will be new for me. I have a 2021 Bronco Sport, we originally bought it in 2022. I love my Bronco sport, I did want one of the bigger Broncos but this is a good first step. I have never owned a Bronco but it has been my new obsession. I am glad to be a fellow Broncy :) I am one of those weird people who like to name their vehicles and I named him Benny, after the vampire in Supernatural lol. Maybe someone will get who I am talking about. I have a question though, has anyone had issues with their vehicle squealing with the brakes? Mine has a tendency to do that when I am reversing and we had taken it to a Midas and they said nothing was wrong. We plan on taking it to the Ford service center for a second opinion but I am curious to know if anyone has had the same issue.

Welcome to the corral. I have heard of how surprisingly capable the sport is.
I don't know about the brake squeak being a bronco issue. I do know brakes squeaking is not uncommon.

Welcome to the Bronco family and the Nation!! Pics or its not real. Lol. I don't follow the Sport stuff too closely but I seem to recall the brake noise being common and there being threads about it. On the main menu you can choose to prefer Sport relevant content and then you can search the forums using words or phrases i.e. Brake noise. I've seen some very capable sports. As a new Sport owner just know that we are all a Bronco family and there are some people that will crap on the Sport, just ignore them as they're not worth your time. Keep an eye out for local events posted on here the community here adds immense value to the Bronco experience!

Welcome, @brattybri13! Glad to have you and Benny here. Yes, as others have said, this is a common issue. Ford has put out TSBs (technical service bulletins) that have fixed it for some but others have the squeaking (as well as a whale noise) return or stay the same. I hope you get the issue solved on yours, though!

Welcome to the forum! If you are still experiencing issues with your brakes squealing, go ahead and send us a private message with your VIN and dealer info. I will look into this concern on my end.
