Hello! My name is Dylan and I'm from Easley, South Carolina. I've been a Ford fan for most of my life and have owned several Mustangs through the years. The new Bronco blew me away when it was first introduced and I decide to sell my 2013 Mustang GT in order to order one. I plan to put my deposit down in a few weeks when I decide on a trim and door count. I'm excited to join the Bronco Nation and become a part of this huge community. I'm looking forward to seeing everyones rides both new and classic while I wait for my own to arrive.

Welcome! Have you talked to your local Ford dealer? My understanding is that Ford has completely stopped taking new reservations for the time being. I saw that on the "net" and asked my dealer about it this week (not that it effected me, I was just randomly curious). He did confirm it.

Welcome, Dylan. It’s nice having you here. Like you, I’ve had several Mustangs over the years. Unlike Mustangs, though, the Bronco is about accepting the challenge of venturing off road for exploration and discovery. It also helps give you a greater appreciation for the outdoors! There’s a great sense of community here in the Bronco Nation. I’m looking forward to seeing what model trim you settle on and then share whatever you like with us. I just ordered mine, and now I’m going to relax and wait for Ford to build it to my liking. I hope you enjoy yourself here!
Chris here. I drive "Lebowski," a 2-door Velocity Blue 2023 Ford Bronco Badlands Sasquatch. Lux package. 2.7L V6. Automatic transmission.

When I spoke with my salesman he said that Ford isn't taking online reservations anymore for MY22. He did say they are accepting orders and once I place my deposit I'll have a place in line. Maybe the truth lies somewhere in between?

I had read some threads where people were saying Ford is no longer accepting orders for Broncos. I called my salesman at George Coleman Ford and he said Ford is still accepting orders, but for most it could be up to a year wait. They also required a $1000 refundable deposit. So now comes the decision to wait and hope it could come sooner or gamble it could be delayed. Decisions...

I placed my order there in Easley at Benson. Seems I may have gotten lucky ordering through them as I got a quick turnaround on my 2022 build date. They have been great to communicate with so far.

That’s good to hear! When did you do your reservation and order?

No Reservation. I placed my order on October 16th for the MY22 Outer banks 4dr. 2.3, soft top, lux package. I got a vin already and a scheduled build week of Dec. 20th. I am sure this might change though.

That’s good to hear and I hope that Ford can delivery it on time. That would be a quick delivwry compared to some people on BN.

Welcome Dylan!
Just drove mine home today, and what a BLAST!
Very much like my '07 GT Mustang, but a much bumpier ride!
First impression, the truck feels as wide as it is long. The rear end kicked-out on me as I pulled out of the parking lot!

It looks great! Feel free to send me a message or post back here after you've had it for a few weeks. I'd love to hear what you think about it! What engine and trans combo did you go with?

Bigger engine with automatic.
I’ll post once I’ve put some miles on it.
May be a while though.
Heading to Florida. Bronco will stay home in garage, and won’t see rain or snow so long as I own it.

I finally placed my order today! I went with an Oxford White four door soft top with the 2.3 and automatic. I originally wanted a two door but I needed more room. It would be difficult to camp in the two door! The hardtop issues were a factor in my decision too. Now the wait begins! The most exciting accessory I opted for was the sliding rear tailgate. We’ll see if that slows it down.

Ordering is a great feeling, isn't it? Taking delivery is probably ten times better. ;)

Welcome and I hope your wait goes quickly and your Bronco is everything you'd hoped it would be!

Welcome Dylan to BN!
Before you turn in that order, make sure you understand all the constraints and how much of a time factor it could have on your order. What you could do without, and what you really would want, don't sacrifice something just because it could get your Bronco faster . Make sure it's a Bronco you want and not the one you settled for, you just might regret it someday.
