Heads Up - Powerful Weather's Coming .. Large Hail, Twisters & Heavy Snow

No twisters just rain & snow for us today.

There is a ton of devastation in and around Omaha right now. This might be the worst tornado in my lifetime. My Bronco is packed with recovery gear and I’m getting ready to volunteer for cleanup. A lot of towns are going to need volunteers.

Glad to hear you are ok. I saw a couple of semis that had blown over and a pickup that had been blown into a ditch on I-80 just outside Omaha. Suzy had called me and asked if anyone had heard from you.

I just got home and checked out this thread. Relieved that you are safe.

The only bad weather that I got into was near Newton, IA. Heavy rain, very little hail and some lightning. I'm glad I got an early start because it looked like more was coming behind me. I was at the blue dot getting gas.

Glad to know you got through before the weather front, @Deano Bronc and didn’t have to contend with too much weather. That blue dot really looked minute compared to what was going on behind it. Fortunately, IL and IN appeared to avoid the worst of it.

Also, good luck on the recuperation from that long migration… 😎

Bad night in Oklahoma, Kansas & others last night. Sadly, seen reports of 4 fatalities in Holdenville, OK. Also, Sulphur & several otherOK towns destroyed..

I've been reading this thread and I'm just hoping for the best for all of you and your family and friends.

I’m just holding until first responders set up official volunteer opportunities. They are asking people to stay away while they complete house sweeps and mass casualty protocols. Lots of rumors swirling, but pictures and video are bad.
