A Zero Forever

Oct 29, 2022

After a year of toil, I finally met with my dealer and completed my order today (reservation was originally made in August of 2021). I had no idea that the color and options could take me so long, but it is what it is I guess, lol.

With a Ford A-Plan pin and no modular front bumper (went with Capable instead), hopefully I'll get her sooner rather than later. However, I did go with the dreaded OEM tow package, hard top, and 334A, so this could be a while.

Guess we'll see! 😅

Welcome to the Bronco Nation! Color was the hardest thing to choose for me. What color did you end up going with?

Hey there, welcome! Thank you for the post. I’m also curious what color you went with. Mine is iconic silver metallic - not super popular but I’ve really liked it.

Welcome and glad to be in your company! I hope your wait is brief and totally worth it. I suspect it will be. 😉

Welcome fellow A-Planner.. Unfortunately my A-Plan didn't help get it any earlier, it only bumped me up in the dealer priority to a 10.. I think they plugged everyone in at a 10.

What trim level, color, constrained items did you order?

Welcome and congrats! I'm in NM - 20 years here now, but born and raised in Speedway Indiana. There is a thread here fir IN Broncos. Look in Bronco Life section of the forums. Find clubs, then you should be able to find it. We went there in September and I arranged a little Bronco meet up. They also have a FB group, Indiana Broncos. Lots of activity and great group of people. Hope every thing goes fast for you. Lots of info on this forum.

Thanks all!

To answer a few questions, I ended up landing on the Badlands trim (kept going back and forth between it and Black Diamond), finally decided on Carbonized Gray Metallic for the color (which is the same color as my current vehicle, so no matter how hard I tried to go Eruption Green or Cactus Gray, both sweet colors, I couldn't help but keep going back to it), and for constrained options I went with the OEM tow package, MIC hardtop, and 334A (did have the modular front bumper, but ended up removing it from the order after getting up-close and personal with the new Capable bumper).

My dealer was quick to remind me that I have up until build notification to change things -- he was pushing pretty hard for me to remove the OEM tow package, which I totally understood given everything I'm reading, but I decided to keep it. Do we know about how much time removing the tow package shaves off the order delivery?

Looking forward to meeting up with folks once she arrives.

Welcome to BN! Great to see another Hoosier here. I'm in the Warsaw area so all the way up north.
Yeah, you'll have a good long wait but its totally worth it. Hopefully the constraints will become fewer and fewer throughout the MY23 build year.

Im switching from Eruption Green to Iconic Silver tomorrow! I love the green but afraid I’ll grow tired of it after a while and it put me over the edge when I saw an Iconic Silver in the wild. It was so sharp looking.
it was hard leaving the green though. Beautiful color and I love the gold shimmer in the sun
