In case you missed it, @Melissa Clark and her husband Brian (@RKYMTN) are on an incredible trip right now with racing legend Curt LeDuc. You can read about the trip here: Touring the Legendary Baja with a Baja Legend. We're glad she left the laptop at home, but we're excited to hear how it went, and how we Bronco owners might be able to do a trip like that ourselves. Happily, she's been texting me some updates, and you can find those below. I'll add to the thread as I get more!
2021 Oxford White 2-door non-Sas Mid package 2.7L/10-speed Badlands with MIC top
2021 Carbonized Gray 2-door Sas High package 2.7L/10-speed Badlands with MIC top
Keeping the Jeeps: stock '89 XJ and 3.5" lifted '00 XJ on 31s

Your trip looks absolutely amazing. Very happy you've taken your Bronco on quite the adventure. Some great photos that encapsulate the overall trip so far, off the beaten path, whale watching, a splash of tequila, good friends and some unique roads to enjoy your BL on. Thank you for sharing your adventure with us all.

"Last evening in Baja and we're staying at the historic Melling Ranch, traditionally part of the Baja 1000.
It is a working cattle ranch and ribeye steaks are on the menu for dinner.
They are hand raising an orphaned calf that we got to feed.
Tomorrow we visit a winery before heading back across the border."

"Making our way back to the border. There are military checkpoints but everyone was friendly. Back in the US soon!"

And she is back (sadly)! Any questions you have for @Melissa Clark may be answered in an upcoming article on her trip, but she'll be around to join in on this thread too :)

OK, I am 💯 percent certain I can get my wife to do this trip just by showing her the whale interactions! All I need is the follow-up post that tells me how I can replicate it. Map, places to see, stay, visit and do, etc. I'm waiting! Need to book my March, 2025! 😀
