Yeah, today we're excited to travel to Moab for our Off-Roadeo experience. Bronco's an easy highway drive with great visibility, comfy seats, lots of power when ya need it, lane assist that's helpful without being too annoying, and luv Bronco's adaptive cruse control - It really works well!

It was snowing as we rolled out of Evergreen, CO at 6:30AM, nav says we have 338 miles to Moab, UT.. The snow, grapple, sleet & fog intensified as we traveled west on Interstate 70. As we climbed, the big rigs were pulling off to roadside chain up lanes, preparing for the winter conditions ahead.

Crossing the Continental Divide at ~12,000ft we had heavy snow, fog, with wet, icy & snow packed road. Bronco was well controlled in Slippery GOAT mode's 4A drive, while I'm doing almost constant windshield washes to clear road grim spray.

It was no surprise when Bronco' warned that a sensor block disabled our collision alert and adaptive cruse control. Yeah, Bronco's entire frontend was covered in a thick crust of road grime. We were able to clear Bronco's radar sensor at our first rest stop with a handy empty coffee cup water splash job though.

After down-climbing Vail Pass conditions quickly improved, and reaching Eagle we finally saw blue sky and smooth sailing. We greatly enjoyed Glenwood Canyon's scenic I-70 roadway:

After a fuel stop and quick Bronco wash job - Our afternoon Arches National Park visit was spectacular too:

In sum, we had 4 hours and probably hiked about 4 miles visiting 5 or 6 sites within the park. Arches is a very special place, with terrific views in every direction, with every bend in the road or turn in the trail. Am sure we'll be back!!

That's awesome, @Kenneth! I can't wait to get back to Moab myself. And you're right, while the Off-Roadeo experience is incredible, Arches National Park is simply awe-inspiring. 😎

We skied Breck this past Monday with the grand kiddos traveling the first third of this same route with clear skies all the way. You just never know what you're gonna get driving these mountains in the winter. And heck, in the Bronco, it almost doesn't matter 'cause it can handle whatever's there.

Ya gotta keep a cowboy code in mind - 'When you climb in the saddle - Be ready for the ride'

I was traveling between Frisco and Telluride when they were blasting Glenwood Canyon for the big upgrade in the 80's. Spent a few hours fishing the Colorado while they cleaned up blasting debris. Great time of my life for sure.
Enjoy your journey.

Gotta agree, Moab is a very unique, even stunning place with tons of available outdoor adventrues. Nearby Arches Natl Pk really needs couple days to explore, we had 2 half days. Throw in Canyonlands & Dead Horse Point, and could easily pack couple weeks with adventures. Here're some more Arches.& trip pics:
