Today while reading this forum another Bronco member mentioned his mustang. Multiple people I know on here have a couple ponies to ride. I figure Several people have more than one horse with the Ford brand in the stable.
Ford made these two machines for fun, and a way of life. We have so many accessories for them.
Let's see your corral.

I like to get the setup as close to how I want to use it. So for me, out of the box..... Badlands sasquatch. Add an air compressor and cooler then hit the trails.
Shelby GT500. Add a helmet and high temp brake fluid and hit the track.

Fun fact, the Shelby has wider tires!

I would also like to point out that when it comes to classic icons.. um...2 door

maybe one day I will get my Cobra, (Kit of course) but I am afraid it will be one of those don't meet your hero moments. But the sound of that 427 trying to kill you would be worth it.

I'm in a Cobra club and lots of "kits". Most have small blocks. All have owners with big grins. And that's the hard part; looking cool while grinning like an idiot.
Mine is a Superformance, factory built rolling chassis, with that vintage 427 big block. At the time I was shopping for one, I looked seriously at a CSX continuation car, which is also a factory built "roller". I didn't fit. I'm 6"2" and it was not comfortable. The Superformance has a slightly higher hood/dash plus a drop down floor. and that made it for me.KIMG0786.JPG

Since I will likely never own an authentic Shelby Cobra anyway, if I ever get a kit I'd either drop a 302 with Boss heads or a 428 SCJ in it since it wouldn't be purebred anyway.

What's cool is you make your Cobra, your Cobra. And the people who have them, get it. So many have the 427 small blocks. Every now and then a 460. Now I see Coyotes in them. Factory five kits were made to use the 5.0 (302) and there is a bunch of them for sure.
And as you know, many original 427 Cobra's had, 428's for a more street able car. I started with a cast 428 in mine.
I do tease the small block guys. I ask them how hard it was to get the Briggs & Stratton decal off the engine.
But they are dam fast no matter the engine. And I like to say, the back of the car is faster than the front because it goes sideways easily.
I did get to see "The one". The very first Cobra.

Seeing all the pics ....wow.
I wanted a mustang. My dealership had a very nice GT500 convertible manual that I would've loved to take home. I think it was a 2018. If I lived somewhere where snow wasn't a thing for 7 or more months out of the year I might have one. My stepsister has a real nice 1970 mustang that lived in a garage for 20 years. Low miles but they had to go through the engine and electric systems and replace a bunch of stuff to get it road ready. I wish I had pictures of it.
My Bronco shares the garage with hubby's 22 F150 sport. We have the 302 V8. Just didn't seem right to have the 2.7 in a full size truck

Yup... That just wouldn't be right.

It's neat seeing all different ponies. Of course any rancher has a pickup

I have been to the Shelby museum in Vegas but that was years ago looked at the CSX cars there with Aluminum bodies. Those are nice. Superformance builds probably one of the if not the best rollers. Factory 5 has come a long way back in the 90’s you had to use a Fox body Mustang as a doner. I was always partial to the Lonestar Classics kit but I don’t know if they are around anymore I know they moved from Fort Worth to just down the street from me in Boerne. There are a few others I have looked at too. Just need to stop spending money on stupid things like mortgage and car payments and just get me a cobra. LOL.

Hope you get one. Expect a lot of attention. And be ready for everyone asking you if it's a real one. That's why I can easily live with a fake Bronco heritage limited.

I don't car what engine you put in a Cobra all other vehicles with loud exhaust seem like a Tesla. My GT500 sounds tame next to the Cobra. I just love rowing the gears in it. The 427 is best sound system out of anything I own.

Oh, wait, I forgot, Broncos have a lot of road noise....
