Allright, we’re starting to see our Broncos trickle in. Now, what do we plan to do with them? My goal is to get the family out camping. The goal of this thread is to post any cool camping gear you’ve found useful or as a game changer, improving quality of life on the trail. A couple things I’ve found that I’m investigating to see if they fit my needs:

-Rubicon Expedition Hitch Mounted Tent Platform

-LifeInTents yurt style tent - plenty of space for the fam

I’ve also gotten a couple of these camping chairs. They fold down to about the size of a Nalgene bottle, so super transportable and actually comfy for my 6’3” heavy frame.

I've seen those and love how small they are folded. I would have a tough time buying a couple that expensive without a chance to sit in them first.
I just realized how stupid that sounds since I'm buying a 60k vehicle without ever driving one.

Lol, yeah. Gear adds up pretty quick. I will say that chair is way more comfortable than I thought it would be. It’s a little low to the ground, but it pivots a bit in the center connection point so it always finds a comfy angle. I got one to test it and now I own four of them.

We are buying a hard side A frame pop up camper by Aliner. We’re going with their Expedition Off-road model that sleeps 4. Fits in our garage. Dry weight around 2250 lbs. Hitch weight of 240 lbs.

Interesting. I’ve been looking at a few of those from various companies. I can’t seem to find one that has enough true sleeping space within the weight limits. Some call the galley bench seat a bed. What are your impressions of the sleeping space in this one?

It looks great for 3-4 people. It will be me and my wife 90% of the time.

I have been picking up bits and pieces here and there. Picked up some lodge cookware, aluminum fold up table, and a Coleman Triton stove.

Looking at upgrading our tent to a Gazelle T4 Overland tent.

We don’t camp enough to justify an electric cooler.

What fold up table did you get? I’m trying to find something that maybe fits in the bronc but can function as a food/game table at camp.
