Can you search the VIN to see if there is a title associated with it now? I think that would be my 1st move…

I watched my dealer rep enter in the order number and track my in transit Bronco just yesterday… they can tell where it is. Something isn’t right about what they are telling you. What a horrible spot to be in. Hopefully there is a reasonable explanation.

The dealership should have the rail car number you might be able to track it down that way. @1Five1 Garage has a YouTube video about how there Bronco was stuck in Miami for over a month because there was no bill of lading or something. Good luck hope it finds its way home soon.

Today is May 27th 2023 Still have not received Bronco That was Built 12/12/2023 (blend date). Order tracker showed it shipped and delivered March 18th thru 26th). Dealer never got. Called Ford Marketing they started case. They called me back three weeks Later stated it would be Delivered week of May 22nd. Has not been delivered. Dealer shows in transit. But can't locate. Called Ford marketing again they said they would look it to it Lady was very nice. She said Give it a week and she would find answer. Her tracker still shows Delivered. Dealer shows in transit. 6 Months since Built and no one knows where this vehicle is. I will continue to exhibit patience at this point I intend to outlast Ford and Dealer. Dealer says he has 5 vehicles in limbo like this. Anyone in this boat or know anyone in this boat. I would just like to get a straight answer from Someone. I tend to trust Dealer because as a company owner I buy several Trucks per Year from them. Anyone experiencing something similar?

That's some crazy dates you have up there, can I get some of what you are smoking?

All kidding aside though, this story comes up more than it should. What makes your story worse is Ford says delivered, dealer says we don't have it. I'm hoping it didn't go to wrong dealership and get sold. I don't even have any advice on who you could reach out to to figure this out. There were some people on B6G that had a list of Ford higher ups to reach out to. Not sure if @Fly By Nite is cruising around these parts but he's pretty good at tracking stuff down... he needs to be as he's been waiting forever on a Bronco built months ago himself.

So I had a similar situation. Ordered my truck back in late 2021. Wasn't able to get built in 2022 so order pushed to 2023. I got a call from my sales guy, and shortly afterward an email from Ford, stating that my truck had been built. They even sent me a pic of it rolling off the line. That was back in early February, truck was built in early January I believe. Sales guy says we should have it in a few weeks, early to mid March. Nothing. By early May I start calling Ford customer service weekly. They are saying it was delivered, but dealership hasn't seen it. After about 1.5 months of back and forth I got them both on the phone at same time. Dealer finds out that my truck was part of recall 23S06, which is for a potential loose/extra bolt inside the transmission case. Customer service finally is able to confirm it was delivered in late March.....back to the Ford truck plant. Its been sitting there 3 months now waiting for the recall inspection.

If your truck went missing and was built from November 2022 to January 2023, and you have the 10 speed auto, contact your dealer and ask them to do a search. It is likely sitting at the plant waiting for this inspection. Odds of finding a loose bolt are low (only 2 Broncos came off the line with this), in which case the inspection is all that is needed. If they find the bolt they will just replace the trans.

This is kind of what has me annoyed though. If you Google the recall number you will find the whole writeup, including the procedures for performing the borescope inspection. I could do this in 2 hours on my four post in my garage, so why is it taking Ford 3 months? Total vehicles impacted by this recall across all models (F-150, Bronco, Mustang. Lincoln Aviator, etc.) is just under 1000 I believe, which in terms of Fords total production is a drop in the bucket. I've talked to customer service multiple times and they tell me they have no way to speed this up. I've written to Ford corporate customer relations and gotten no response. If anyone has any contact names to either get an idea of when it might be completed or give the process a bump please let me know.

Yahoo! Finally Delivered on Wednesday 1/24/24. A whole year and a month after it Came off Line. Ford Lost it twice, Dealer had to get VP of Bronco to intervene find it and get it shipped. Was at ford test track for 6 Months then shipped to Columbia SC 89 miles from Here Lost again for rest of time. then located last Friday and shipped here. Best part is they held my pricing from 3 years ago then Ford gave another rebate because of the long string of problems getting it here. Then Dealer felt so bad he gave another thousand off. Cudos to my Dealer Capitol Ford for persevering and working the system to find it. I am so Happy. Now proud owner of a 2023 Cactus Gray Wild track. There was a light at end of the tunnel. Lesson Learned Out wit, Outlast, don't give up the Ship! and have a good Dealer. worth the 4 year wait from Reservation.

Way back in 1976 I worked at a Chrysler dealer and I did new car prep. Checking them in when they arrived and getting them ready for the lot. One day when the transport arrived it had a brand new dusty 3 year old road runner on it.
The car had been shipped to the wrong dealer and put on the backlot. With no paperwork the receiving dealer could not sell it and it fell through the cracks. Additionally, transport companies delivered vehicles, they did not pick up, so cars had a one way ticket as it where.

It drew a crowd when it was unloaded, because they no longer made those.

Glad you got it man.
