For all of you that are waiting on your Bronco being built and want to track it.
Here are some good links…

To the Ford site to check on status
https://shop.ford.com/vehicleordertracking#/

To view your Window Sticker, add your VIN at the end
https://www.windowsticker.forddirect.com/windowsticker.pdf?vin=

To the Ford site that populates your Modules being turned on (this lets you know it’s actually built at the factory
https://www.motorcraftservice.com/AsBuilt

And lastly to see if it’s scheduled on the Convoy to your Dealer!
https://palsapp.com

If you are going by rail, it’s more complicated…

First you will need the rail car letters and numbers. It is on the visibility report or DORA which is from the dealership. You MAY be able to get it from the SVT people but they seem often in a cranky mood and may tell you to get it from the dealer.

There are two major rail companies.

CSX is everything east of the mississippi
UP is everything west of the mississippi

But they all start out on CSX so once they have it in their system they will follow it all the way.

So, how do you track your truck on a railcar?

First and most important. Never talk to live personnel at the railroad! Only use automated phone system. If it attempts to transfer you to a live person please hang up. The railcar information we are provided by is given as a courtesy and if we call live personnel we may lose the access and ability to track.

CSX
1. Call the CSX 1-800-235-2352
2. When prompted for location or weight, press "1" on your phone for location.
3. When prompted for the car initials, say CN (or whatever initials you have) then wait for the next prompt.
4. When prompted for the car number, say 907048 (or whatever your number is)
5. When prompted for next car say DONE.
6. That's it; enjoy your updated status report.

Union Pacific
1. Call UP at 1 800 877-5123 1 800 877-5123
2. Follow phone prompts for Trace
3. Say the railcar number complete and clearly. Example CN123456 all together
4. Listen for your update

Please let me know if there are any others and I'll add. That way it'll all be in one place!
Or maybe make it a sticky.

OK I got a CSX "Railcar # TTGX710986" Your railcar info should be similar to that.
Thats what I called CSX with and had to repeat to the computer that nearly drove me nuts.
CSX delivered all the way to San Diego where my dealer is.
ALL Broncos come from the Michigan Assembly Plant.rail center, mine came from Ramp 4G
Good luck

My rail car # is TTGX952926, but it is being shipped via Canadian National Railways to Portland. I’m in NorCal and hope it gets sent down via truck from Portland. Not sure how it gets here from Portland.
Called Canadian National today and they confirmed they had it and it shows scheduled for departure from Flat Rock Michigan tomorrow.

Just an fyi, I just happened to call Ford today and they gave me the rail car #. The back door tracker still shows in process. Maybe it will update tomorrow?

The Ford trackers suck. IF its scheduled to ship via rail then its done. Hang in there. My dealer surprised me and said "hey guess what just arrived" a week before I thought it would get there. Hope that happens to you.

Dealer shows delivery at railyard in Dallas 3 weeks ago, yet has not been transported from yard to dealer 15 miles away. At least Ford keeps mailing us and delaying our shipment delivery date Week after week. Dealers not allowed to pickup any more. I would plan for 4 weeks after vehicle ships. Unfortunately, we sold our other vehicle 2weeks ago based on first delivery notice. Big mistake.

I feel your pain.....my Bronco showed built on 06/10/2022. It is still in transit. It went from Michigan to Illinois and sat there for 2 weeks and now it's in Portland for another week. The shipping process is super slow. I think mine will next get on a train and go to Benicia, Ca and then get trucked up to my dealership. It has taken over 2 months so far and I feel like I have a couple of weeks to go, minimum. I can't believe that Ford would wait this long to get revenue for their product. They have this thing built and it takes them over 2 months to get paid for something they have all their money tied up in. I guess it is more of the supply chain stuff, but still seems crazy to me.

You can usually find your build date on the fire order tracker, the window sticker will show up about a week before that date, there you can find the blend date and shipping method.

I've detected a lot of anger and disappointment in the use of links of any kind to track the status and location of your Broncos.

This raises the question: Why is it relevant? You can't do anything until your Bronco is delivered to the dealership, right? I'm not trying to argue, I'm just curious as to how this information is useful to anyone.

This is very true. I think the only relevant piece of these links is to know what it’s built and have an idea of when it arrives at your dealership. Outside of that, we have zero control.

Thanks. Yeah I guess it would be fun to know when it's delivered to the dealership. It might even be fun to arrive in time to see it offloaded from the carrier. I just don't really see the point of obsessing over where it is at any given moment. Won't your dealer call you when your vehicle arrives? Don't they want to get paid for it? LOL

Don’t get me wrong, I can dig the joy of anticipation, but the frustration of not knowing where your vehicle is every second sours what should be exciting times. As a former owner of a MINI Cooper, it was fun to track the vehicles progress from Oxford, England to Oxnard, California back in 2008. I even watched the cargo ship that carried it here go through the Panama Canal on a security camera! It was a hoot, but I knew there was nothing I could do but wait for the call from my dealer. When it did, I bolted down there to see it delivered. LOL

For me it’s more of the excitement and anticipation. I know the trackers can’t say exactly where it’s at in the process but it’s fun to see it change status. But I am also not one to get upset when there is nothing new to see. I’ve never special ordered a car before so it’s cool seeing the whole process. And I think it’s stories we will all have to tell forever especially if it really does become the new classic.

Yes, they will call me when it arrives and they are most definitely going to want my money. Lol…. Unfortunately my dealer is located 9 hours from me, so I can’t just jump in my car and head over to watch it offload. I have to plan for a trip there and possibly stay for a week or so while they do my mods. So, a little planning needs to happen and would just be good to know the progress it’s actually making at the plant and in transit.

Some people would like to follow the progress from being assigned a VIN all the way thru production and delivery.
Some don't. If you don't, no problem, you really don't need to follow the post LOL.

Yeah, I get it. But for many it seems to be heaping a lot of unnecessary stress into their lives. I think it's important to be mindful of the motivation, so the reality of the situation can be kept in perspective. There's already enough to stress over in this life; letting go of this obsessive behavior may make the unavoidable wait less stressful for some!

What is the longest amount of time from the build date / blend dates before it shows that the Bronco was actually built? My build date was 8/5/22 and my blend date was 8/4/22, and my modules went live around 8/5/22, but over a week later, still no indication that it's been built. I was planning an offroading / camping trip in Ouray, Colorado for early September, but at this rate, I may not get the Bronco (delivering to Houston) until October.
