For all of you that are waiting on your Bronco being built and want to track it.
Here are some good links…

To the Ford site to check on status
https://shop.ford.com/vehicleordertracking#/

To view your Window Sticker, add your VIN at the end
https://www.windowsticker.forddirect.com/windowsticker.pdf?vin=

To the Ford site that populates your Modules being turned on (this lets you know it’s actually built at the factory
https://www.motorcraftservice.com/AsBuilt

And lastly to see if it’s scheduled on the Convoy to your Dealer!
https://palsapp.com

If you are going by rail, it’s more complicated…

First you will need the rail car letters and numbers. It is on the visibility report or DORA which is from the dealership. You MAY be able to get it from the SVT people but they seem often in a cranky mood and may tell you to get it from the dealer.

There are two major rail companies.

CSX is everything east of the mississippi
UP is everything west of the mississippi

But they all start out on CSX so once they have it in their system they will follow it all the way.

So, how do you track your truck on a railcar?

First and most important. Never talk to live personnel at the railroad! Only use automated phone system. If it attempts to transfer you to a live person please hang up. The railcar information we are provided by is given as a courtesy and if we call live personnel we may lose the access and ability to track.

CSX
1. Call the CSX 1-800-235-2352
2. When prompted for location or weight, press "1" on your phone for location.
3. When prompted for the car initials, say CN (or whatever initials you have) then wait for the next prompt.
4. When prompted for the car number, say 907048 (or whatever your number is)
5. When prompted for next car say DONE.
6. That's it; enjoy your updated status report.

Union Pacific
1. Call UP at 1 800 877-5123 1 800 877-5123
2. Follow phone prompts for Trace
3. Say the railcar number complete and clearly. Example CN123456 all together
4. Listen for your update

Please let me know if there are any others and I'll add. That way it'll all be in one place!
Or maybe make it a sticky.

FYI for anyone having trouble today (01/04/22)—

Ford just launched the 2022 F-150 Lightning Build & Price tool. So the Ford website is getting absolutely hammered at the moment.

Probably best to just try again tomorrow when things calm down a bit.
From speaking to a ford rep at their marketing office. She indicated that the website has been a known issue for tracking orders. The volume of people at certain points crash the system and create havoc. I am sure with website maintenance issues and such it doesn’t help either. But as we say: stand by to stand by, And hurry up and wait. Enjoy the trip not just the destination. Or insert any other PMA quote that gets you through the day! Maybe I’ll start a new group chat called PMA. Lol

So I assume unless you have a VIN # then it's useless to try and track just with an order #.

Yeah or a reservation ID would work. But otherwise it’s dealer info only.

I just went to the palsapp to copy the link for someone and yes they have removed the search portion. It looks like they got wise to thousands of anxious order holders searching for their Bronco and changed it up.

My Bronco started out with CSX but is now traveling via Canadian Pacific Railway. My dealer had the railcar number with CSX, but not with CPR. Would it be the same or would they have unloaded it and put on another railcar?

I called this number today out of curiosity. Didn't have the same problem with the car initials but the trace result stated the rail car was in Gibson, Indiana on 5/11. Funny thing is I have access to Ford's vehicle visibility report, which updates in transit check points, and it showed the rail car in Chicago on 5/10 and 5/12 (looks to be moving between two rail junctions in the Chicago area). Hard to believe it arrived in Chicago on 5/10, went to Gibson, Indiana (not even sure where that is) on 5/11 then back to Chicago (Blue Island) on 5/12. I'm on the west coast so it should be making its way west. I don't know. Not a railroad transportation expert bu the CSX locator seemed strange compared to the tracking on Ford's vehicle visibility site.

How were you able to get access to Ford's vehicle visibility report? I'm so sick of calling CSX and not knowing exactly where my Bronco is.

I work at a Ford dealership. However, the vehicle visibility report is not always accurate. At one point it showed my Bronco in Illinois but the CSX tracking was way more accurate showing the rail car at its final destination

I ordered my Bronco in Feb this year. It was built on June 1st and was labeled as "In transit" via rail on June 2nd. I waited a few days to allow time to have it loaded on a train. Today, my dealer after some prompting from me looked for a Vehicle Visibility report. What I was emailed back was a generic, information lacking photo of what was stated was the extent of what they can find with no "TTGX" or "Secondary" column information supplied. I have emailed again in an attempt to get this information with no luck. Does anyone on here have access to and is willing to help find the TTGX numbers I need for tracking? TYIA!!

Its difficult. I did it only after a number of tries:
  1. You need your dealer to give you the train car number and information.
  2. You have to call BNSF and VERBALLY spell out the train information to a computer recording. The idiot machine literally misquotes every letter and number you say:
  3. Example you say very clearly: ONE X 2498 T 23 Y 78
  4. It says "Ok I heard ONE S 2413 E 23 Z 11
  5. This goes one for like 5-10 times and you lose your mind
  6. Then finally if you are lucky it actually gets the numbers and letters right and it tells you " your rail car is in Cincinnati" or wherever..
BNSF sucks.

So if your Bronco is going to California do you use the CSX phone # or the Union Pacific #? It states that they all start out as CSX so I'm guessing it the CSX #, but not sure. Do I need to change over to the Union Pacific # at some point?
