That Friday feeling you get when your Bronco build date shows up in your email box!!! Ohhh what a feeling! I was smiling ear to ear all afternoon! Build date for my new Marsh Gray, 4 Dr, Badlands w/Sasquatch package and other awesomeness is Sept 1 and it is now one step closer to reality. Why is it this email is making me happier than the day she said “Yes”? LOL……

Updates we need updates.
Probably out driving all over and forgot to post pictures. I had the flew when ours came in (october 31, 2022) and was feeling pretty bad when we picked it up so all I got to do was drive it home.
Actually came to a deal with my dealer over email Yesterday and I am heading over to pick up my Bronco Saturday morning. The work up I had made from Chat GPT helped in the negotiations a lot as it was very straight forward and to the point. We agreed on a 10% discount from MSRP. Honestly though, the dealer was pretty good from the start. He was fair and to the point and honored my requests as he was still making money as well. I learned why they get a ton of positive reviews. Between now and Saturday, they are doing the prep work and their inspections so it’s ready When I hand them the check. Already planning out my first beginner off road trip to break it in. Pics coming Saturday night!!!

That's awesome news, @DragoBiscuit! I'm sure I speak for all when I say we can't wait to see photos of your new Bronco. Just enjoy the moment and savor being handed the keys. Taking home a new Bronco ranks as one of my best days! 😎

Now that’s what I heard everyone say in all of this, and it’s the reason I decided to pick up on Saturday when I am off work and family is out of town. It will be all about me and my new vehicle, (well the poor Lyft driver too, who’s taking me 50 miles to the dealership and will be a captive audience forced to listen to me drone on about my new Bronco! Poor guy, he is going to hate his job after this I fear!). Thank you @BuckYeah and everyone for putting up with all my whining while waiting for this day. Again hats off to all you who had to wait months and years as your wait helped to pave the way for folks like me to have a shorter time of it.

Good news.
Wow times have changed. My build week was early September and I did not get my Bronco until early November. I guess you didn”t have to wait for an airbag cover for the passenger side sport bar. 😂

Man what a feeling! I picked up my new Bronco early this morning! I could not stop smiling on the way home! Just the feeling of not having to crouch down into my old Ford Fusion any more and sitting up high on the road was the greatest feeling…Well here she is before I did anything to it.

After getting home I added new red hand grips, my obligatory Deadpool character, 3Wi floor covers, and a bunch of other little things just to make it more homie. On the way home I blared some Ozzy “Im Coming Home” and Black Eyed Peas “What a feeling” that was a great first drive! Over the next couple weeks will come an ARB Twin Air under the hood, hood gas struts, a set of red tow hooks, mud flaps and a winch. Then the pup and I are going camping!

Oh I will be asking a bunch of questions for sure. There are some really good videos on YouTube as well. Hey thank you on the feedback. I cannot wait to get that thing dirty but after reading all about tire kicking up rocks frequently when new I want to get those mud flaps in first and foremost!

Lookin’ good, @DragoBiscuit! I’m glad you took delivery as planned and that you’re comfortable putting your own mark on the Bronco. I second getting full-body PPF, but I would’ve waited to install the Badlands emblems until that had been done. The PPF would negate the need for mud flaps. Anyway, your Bronco looks great. I hope you and the pup have some good times off-road. Thanks for sharing your pix!

Thanks and you know I kicked myself a bit on that but that logo is metal so I can salvage it after the fact and reapply.

No worries. Any decent PPF installer would be able to cut the material around that simple shape should you decide to go that route. Those emblems look great, btw. Much nicer than the fridge magnets that came with the Bronco. Ford really should up their game in that respect. 🥸

I found them on Etsy after someone posted it in the forums a few months back. It’s solid, I assume aluminum and it has good 3m tape on the back for mounting. The person selling these did a great job making them. They are pricy for sure…

https://www.etsy.com/listing/174395...X-5WCTKbm_6EW5FjyeoHu7gSxZEoXdd8aAgfuEALw_wcB

correction, they are made of nickel and the color is enamel.

They look pricey (not a bad thing if the quality is good). Which is exactly why Ford shouldn’t cheap out on theirs! $55K+ on a vehicle and it comes with fridge magnets.

Etsy is a cool site.
