Hello Bronco Nation!

Thought I would start a thread for us who ordered January 2022. I figure it would be a great place to keep updated on movement with this order group!
I had a reservation in June of 21 but ended up getting cancelled. So I had a walk in order (no res) on January 3rd 2022! I ordered a 4dr black diamond 2.7 mid package hard top.

dealer told me 4-6 months (but we will see!!)

update: called the dealer 1/24 and was told I have a vin and build week 3/14! Hopefully it sticks

If you can't get windshield coverage at a decent price, you could try out the windshield protection film. I did mine as a self install from grab-gard.com. windshield coverage isn't available as zero deductible from my insurer, and it was really expensive from other insurers I got quotes from. It was a lot cheaper to just protect the windshield with film instead.
I watched the install video, seems pretty straight forward. Might have to think about trying it out...it runs $200 for Broncos.

Mods=computer modules. You can see if they are alive using your VIN and the following link:

If your Bronco is "alive" the tracking from the Motorcraft link will look like this--and once all of the modules are installed, the Tear Tag field will have a 4 digit hexidecimal code. :

I was able to get my window sticker days before I could get it using the actual Ford links...the window sticker has your "blend date", which is when the chassis and body come together to start down the final assembly line.

I thought about a velostar, drove one and was let down. So I've been on the hunt for something exciting and peppy like the miata and I'm hoping the bronco will fill this desire. Fingers crossed

Oh no, I won't sell. I'm a stick shift fan. That's number one draw. It's impossible to find a suv with a manual. I've been driving an automatic for 3 years and ready to pull my hair out. The miata was too small. (Restaurant life, I move alot of product/ groceries often) and then you've got the added benefit of being topless... yeah. Bronco can be tuned for extra oomph. But it is literally going to be a perfect fit for me

Ah. Makes sense. Mine should be lower from all the policies I've got. We have about 6 cars on our insurance. For 2 drivers.
